This is a new low price for the shredder. It is a great deal. Compared to other shredders.

This is my second one. First one was 5 years before going. multriple copies are a dream for this machine. it is serious business.

Works great and was on sale when I bought it. Read the description because it will not shred much more than the recommended amount of sheets at a time, but that's not a bad thing as it works as advertised. For home use its great and we have had no issues. If doing high volumes like in an office it will bog down or take some time due to sheet limit. Overall works great and we have not had an issue.

To much clean up, have to dig pieces of shredded paper from between the blades. Not being able to have a bag inside the container makes for more clean up.

Purchased this product to replace my old strip cutter. The cross hatch cutting is sufficient for my use. If someone can piece together the 1 inch long 1/4 wide, through my trash, I figure they must be very desperate and they can have what they find.

This is the second Dynex Shredder that I have purchased. My last unit was broken by me as I was not paying attention to what I was shredding one afternoon....otherwise it would still be operating, This current unit is a simple powerful shredder that does what it says it will do, shred paper effectively. I also like the automatic shut off when no paper is inserted, it shuts off quickly, it does not run for an extended period, very beneficial considering the shredder is loud.

Needed a shredder for my basement and wanted one that would fit the bill. This one is perfect and even better, I got it on sale, under $30. Love having the handle on the unit when emptying.

This is a great shredder for the price range. I have had it for 6 months and it still works great.

Good replacement shredder, this replaces one that gave us many years (13+) of service before finally suffering fatal jam. This shredder handles more sheets and can also do plastic (old expired or compromised credit cards) and CDs. It will definitely be put to the test soon as I'm about to purge files. Good value as we shopped the sales and purchased for roughly 50% off.

Excellent shredder to discard of unwanted personal documents to prevent criminal dumpster and garbage divers from obtaining your personal information for identiy fraud purposes.

The on/off switch seems flimsy. Hopefully, it is durable and will last awhile. This shredder does an excellent job shredding the paper into tiny pieces. It states it can shred up to 10 papers at a time...I have not tried more than 4 and I could hear it strain. If you shredded more than 5 plus papers at a time for a long time, I bet this thing wouldn't last long. For the price, it's decent enough to shred daily mail.

Nice unit for the price! Does a good job. Real Fast, a little hard to get the paper to feed some time's,overall it's a good unit!

Works very well as advertised. There is one minor issue though. The shredder unit has to be seated just right on the container to activate the safety mechanism which allows it to shred. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this unit.

Bought this unit to replace my old Fellowes shredder which I had for a few years now. The previous shredder I've had could never do the claimed sheet shredding without straining, This one breezes through 8-9 pages with no problem. I shered a lot of sheets at one sitting, almost a basket full, the unit hasn't overheated once. Worth the price.

I love this shredder. I find it in the clearance items, and couldn't resist the price. I use if for shredding my old credit cards, and any bank statements or personal information that I need to get rid of. It works great! It was easy to set up, it hasn't gotten jammed yet, and I have had it for a few months now. It was definitely worth the price.

Have been using this for more than a month, Tried papers and credit card so far. Very much satisfied with the product so far.

Have owned this shredder for about a month and use it frequently, but have not yet given it a big or challenging job. It seems very sturdy. It is easy to use and easy to empty. I like that it operates more quietly than other shredders I have had.

The price is right and it works for light duty shred. The head clogs and makes a mess on the floor but the rice was right
