Yes, I know it is overkill but I live in Los Angeles and want to be ready for the big one. It charges my old Samsung Galaxy S3 quickly and in comparing it to other battery charges I have used, it gets my highest rating. Bought them inside the store instead of online. The online price at the time was higher than the store's bundle promotion. Also, cheaper to buy this charger at Best Buy than on Amazon.
