Yes, I know it is overkill but I live in Los Angeles and want to be ready for the big one. It charges my old Samsung Galaxy S3 quickly and in comparing it to other battery charges I have used, it gets my highest rating. Bought them inside the store instead of online. The online price at the time was higher than the store's bundle promotion. Also, cheaper to buy this charger at Best Buy than on Amazon.

It does the job right, doesn't heat up, and can give almost a full battery charge depending on the phone. It is a little bulky for how small the battery is, but you can't beat the price and the fact that it comes in multiple colors!

On a full charge, it does not fully charge the phone. Being used to using the phone while it charges, I have learned that it will not charge the phone while in use. Others have shown me portable chargers that seem to work better.
