At 2000mAh, this isn't the most powerful battery on the market, but it packs enough juice to keep your phone alive until you can reach a proper charger. Of course, a 10,000mAh power bank would provide a more complete charge, but then you would have to carry a brick around. The device itself is simple to use and charge. Also, I like the slender profile of the battery bank as it makes it more pocketable. Furthermore, when it comes to something that uses lithium battery tech, I feel more safe and comfortable purchasing a "house brand" like Dynex, versus an unknown vendor.

It's a portable external 2000mAh battery that can charge your phone or any portable device. It's small, unobtrusive and simple to use. It's literally plug in and charge. While it does have a charge indicator (blur for good and red for low battery) that's all you get. You don't get a specific indicator that tells you the exact level of charge left. So that's my only complaint. Overall though it charges my phone quickly. My Galaxy S6 from 55% battery to 100% in about 45 minutes. Overall it's worth it.

I bought a few of these chargers on black Friday as stocking-stuffers. Then one school morning before Christmas, my daughter forgot to charge her phone (on a day where she had to stay after school). I pulled this out of the package and gave it to her to take to school. It gave her an 75% charge (without being pre-charged). I have since run a test on my own phone (galaxy S5) after fully charging this charger. I got about ~80% charge. Will have to see how it holds up over time. Good value for the price.

I have had several portable chargers and this one seems to last the longest. It charges fast but my only complaint is the charging cable has to be sitting at a certain angle to make sure it is charging. This is the second one that I purchased. The first was $9.99 in the summer for my son to take to college and a short time after that, I got the second one for $5.99. Comes in pretty colors. For the price, I would buy another one. Would have given it a 5 star except for the charging cable problem.

I bought this charger for traveling. The reason I like this one is a) compact form factor and b) price. At $4 it does exactly what it should - charge my iPhone 5 from zero to full in a bit over an hour. Obviously you can find larger batteries with ~10,000mah for ~$10-15. I actually do have two such portable chargers. But if you are looking for a small charger, this one is great. Reason I give 4 stars - I have only used it three times. I am not sure how well it will hold up over time.

Got this on sale so the price paid made this a very good buy. At most you'll get one full charge on most smartphone. Which is good for most people looking to have a backup when an outlet is unavailable. The small size makes this easy to carry in a pocket or store in a purse, etc. The capacity means that once you use it you'll need to recharge. Just something to keep in mind if you are planning a trip or something. On sale, it's a good buy, otherwise it's a good idea to shop around for the best deal.

Solid portable charger, a must have if you're going to an amusement park or sporting event where you will be away from a power source all day.

Got this on the cheap, just a couple bucks. On a mAh per $ basis, unless you are paying $2 or under, I wouldn't recommend since you can buy a 10000 mAh charging pack for like...$10 on other popular retailer websites. At $2 this is a great purchase. It charges quick and it has enough charge for one full charge o an iPhone. My only complaint is that the charging is via MicroUSB. I don't mind that, but I would assume that Apple users would prefer to charge this with a lightning cable. Would be nice to have charging by both MicroUSB and Lightning cable. Oh well. At least they include the MicroUSB cable in the box.

I barely ever have to charge it. It's simple and sleek. I love how it fits easily in my pocket w my phone. I've dropped it quite a few times and it still works as good as if I just bought it...I had another one I purchased somewhere else and it cost more and was bigger which was an inconvenience. Also, it didn't hold a charge and broke within a couple months. I love my new charger!

I bought several of them because Best Buy had them on sale for $2/3 instead of the normal $8/10. They're not every going to be more than emergency power just to get my phone able to make calls, but that's what I bought them for. I leave them charged on my vehicles for emergency situations. The charging light is through a pin sized hole on one side (not next to the usb plug), so that's an annoyance. Blue for full, red for charging, easy.

I was looking for something that was small and lightweight to carry around in my purse or pocket and this was perfect! It charges my phone and ipod seamlessly. A little blue lights comes on to tell me it's charging my item. I have had issues trying to use it to charge my fitbit however, it'll charge for a about a minute and then stop; it might be my fitbit cord though because my phone and ipod charge just fine. All in all, a great product!

I've never paid full price. So it's a great product for the price of $2.99 or $4.99 when on sale. Charge seems to last and hasn't decreased in efficacy since purchasing. Portable charger will charge about 75-100% depending on how low the phone charge is at. Still a great product for sale price. Only down side is when the cord starts to get used a lot it can get touchy while charging.

I missed place my primary back up battery and I needed another to take on a motorcycle ride. I didn't want spend a lot of money and found this one on clearance for a couple of bucks It served my needs at that time, but it doesn't hold a long charge as my larger backup battery. I would buy it again just to keep it for emergencies. But I do like its very light weight and didn't notice it when it was in my pocket

It's small, relatively light-weighted, and low-cost to be used as a backup. I can use it with my iPhone to make a 30min call when the phone is out of its own battery. So I believe it is a good companion/backup power source if you have it fully charged before you head into some remote area. If you have multiple devices which you want to charge, you better look for something else with larger capacity.

I bought 2 of these for my kids for Christmas. They used them right away as they never remember to charge their tablets/phones. I borrowed 1 to use on my device but it was very hot!!! I'm not sure what caused that because it seemed to be plugged in correctly. I disconnected it and used it again on another occasion. It worked fine then. I think a higher end brand will work better and longer but for the price I would probably recommend this to another

Bought this unit because I had forgotten my charger cable. Went into best buy to buy a cable. They were $30.00 ! No way was I that desperate but I needed to charge my phone. Saw these on sale and they came with a small charging cord. I paid $3.99 what a deal. Never thought I would use the device just the cord, but plugged it in to the unit and it worked great. Not only did I save cash I got a gadget that actually works. The whole family uses it.

This is a very basic charger that does not take long to be ready to charge products. It is light weight and easy to travel with. Comes with a small generic charging cable that worked with all of my Samsung products. Charging various products ranged in times of completion. I appreciate the charging lights were tiny on this product. Very basic charger but I have made great use out of it!

I've had this battery charger for a couple years now and it's worked well. At the start it had enough capacity to fully charge my dead phone, but now as that it's been used a lot and phones get bigger batteries it doesn't fully charge my phone anymore. But considering this was cheap and it's worked for 2 years I think it was a great purchase!

I bought this inexpensive charger and it increases my iphone 6 charge about 20% in 30 minutes. I got a green one for myself and a pink one for my daughter. They are easy to spot in our bags and we think they are pretty light weight. We've had them over a month and we use them a couple of times each week. I originally bought two much more expensive chargers with great reviews from Amazon. They were heavier, black, and worked great, for less than one month. When I came across these chargers, I was much happier with the weight, easy to find color, and I won't be as concerned if they get lost or stop working.
