Bought this to replace a failed unit in a dell desktop, the dynex is much quieter. Works great for the money, my local BB had them in stock, what else can I say, great PS for the money! Another great BB product!

This power supply is a perfect replacement for the 300W LiteOn PS-5301-08HA (HP Part #5188-2625). It has all the connectors that the original has plus a few additional that the original doesn't. It's an exact fit in my HP Pavilion Media Center m8067c computer. The fan in the original power supply froze and something shorted out inside the power supply. Replaced soldered-in fuse, but short remained. I found serveral replacement power supplies on line, but this one from my local Best Buy fits this bill.

A good power supply for the money! While I have used more expensive power supplies, this one served the purpose for which it was bought.

went in to geek squad to find out if computer was caput and found it only need a new power supply...it was even on sale....everything works better now.

For a cheap Power supply the Watt per Dollar ratio is very nice. As any other Power Supply of this nature it is simple to install.

Power supply was easy to install. Surprised that a power supply of this size (400W) had a 6-pin PCI-E power connector... Good product for the price.

Got this PSU yesterday with an Nvidia 9500 gt, and they run perfectly together. The card fan is louder than the PSU fan.. Great PSU.

First off Dynex is a off brand name for Best Buy, that is why it is so affordable. A year and a half ago I needed a new power supply for my new graphics card and only had so much money to spend on a power supply. Went to Best Buy and they did not have much units to pick from and they all where one hundred dollars or more, but seen the Dynex unit for under a hundred dollars so I got the unit. Got it home and put it in my PC and turn it on and it sounded OK for a month. After a month it started to get louder and louder, and I could not play a PC game with out having headphones on it was so loud. This power supply also dose not put out the power that is listed on the box. My PC was not getting the power that it needed, so it slowed down my computer. If you don't have a lot of money to spend and don't mind the loud noise then it's a good deal, but I would say get a little more powerful power supply then what you were originally going to buy to make up for the power that it dose not put out.

If you are trying to upgrade your computer and add extra stuff you need to make sure that you have enough power to run the extras. The power supply is set for what you got when you bought it most of what you add on needs more power. In may case I add a Graphics card that will make the quality of my videos mutch more addvanced. any way I would like to say I do like it. It brought back what what most whould pronouse dead. By the way I put it on an old Compaq window XP

Ok...so my power supply died after almost 5 years of continuous use so being that I need my desktop for everyday use (school,work) I needed a power supply and fast. Not wanting to wait for a UPS delivery I checked Best Buy, reserved it online for in store pick up and it was installed in minutes after arriving at home. My only gripe is that it could have been maybe a little bit cheaper...but that's what I get for wanting it right away.

This is an inexpensive power supply for basic computer use. It was simple to install and connect to each device.

Power supply on my HP Pavilion Quad Core went down. This power supply had all of the ncessary connector (and some more that I diid not need) and fit into the HP Chassis perfectly. The cables are covered for exrra protection. Tip: Before you take out your old PS take some pics (I did it with my mobile phone) so you know where everything goes back.

The troubleshooting of my computer down to the power supply was rather quick. The technicians worked on it while I was in the store but I had to leave and pick it up later. The computer works fine. The only negative thing I have to say is that someone on the geek squad broke a hinge on a front panel on my computer that hides my outlets. There was no compensation or we will try to replace that. They did try to fix it but realized they couldn't. Computers brought in for repairs should leave in the same condition plus the repair as when they are brought in.

You pay for what you get. But this is overall a good buy. Only 400 watts but if you are not going to run any demanding graphics or heavy duty processors than you should be fine with this one. all wires are bundled in a black webbing all cords long enough to reach the motherboard.
