Great product and inexpensive - so far it has fit a few different computers.

I would recommend this power supply to my friends. When we need power supply for our other compuerts, Dynex power supply will definitely be the one I will buy again.

Easy to install and does exactly what it's meant to do. No problems at all.

This unit is adequate for a modest system. The cables are secured with nice net sleeves, making cable management relatively simple. The number and kinds of connectors are limited. The unit is a bit light in weight, if that makes any difference.

Pick this power supply up to do a graphics card upgrade on an dell 530s which only has a 250w power supply. This power supply does not fit in the slim case but I had also ordered a mid tower which this power supply fit fine in.

The power supply replaced a HP power supply that just gave up, the connectors are easy to use, the only limitation is that the cables are strapped together and you have to unclip them but it was easy. The entire process took 5 minutes.

The power supply fits perfectly in the old spot on my pc. there are lots of extra power slots on the cables. the only bad thing is that the directions suck and tool me awhile to hook it up.

The original power supply for my computer went and I was satisfied with this replacement. As with all things, they do not last forever, so this is the second power supply replacement in about three years.

My power supply died and I purchased this one because my pc is so old I did not want to spend any money on it. This one seemed to be the best deal, especially given its Best Buy"rating". It was very easy to install and fired right up but holy hard drives-is it loud. I could barely hear my old one but this one I can hear from two rooms away. I would have given it a 5 star rating if it were even remotely quiet.

At its price, the Dynex 400W PSU appears to have a quality advantage over some of the economy line PSU's of the same power. It also has the convenience of purchase at retail stores. Upon opening the box, the cables seem well protected, and have a good aesthetic feel and appearance. However, this does not translate well into the internal components. Despite the packaging and the good reputation of Best Buy, this particular product fails to deliver as advertised. While the price has decreased, the performance is still on par (or below) its peers in the economy line. This unit will work for entry level low-use, non-modified systems. If one is looking for "economy" I would recommend looking elsewhere. If one is looking for "quality", then I would steer them to Thermaltake, or Corsair for a more reliable product. It's unfortunate that the Best Buy reputation earns this sub-par component a price that misleads the consumer into believing that the quality is greater than it actually can deliver. It is interesting to note that the 400W and 450W units have performed almost identically, despite the rating difference.

Recently purchased this power supply to replace a failing one on my father's PC and it fired it right up and he hasn't had any issues yet after hours of use.

Had the Geek Squad look at the CPU the main problem is it would not turn on. The GS guy installed the new power supply and it's worked since.

Ineeded to increase power for new up grade, this product worked great.

got for an older cpu . i got a new graphics card that required a 300w. works well for the price

Runs Great and was worth the price. Fit perfectly and had just the right cords.

This is used as a backup power supply when needed.

Appears well constructed. Attractive, wrapped cables. However, six months in (this morning) it overheated and failed. I won't be buying a Dynex Power Supply again.

CD Rom does not work after the power supply was put in by the best buy geek.
