I bought one first at a sale price($2), found out it is good, bought two more when I saw it dropped to that price again a few month later.

I have several Apple cords, but they all seem to wear out. Meaning, the plastic around the cord separates (exposing wire) right where the cord meets the head of the lightning jack. This seems much more durable with thicker coating. It is not showing the same wear as the other's Apple standard ones I've owned. I'm impressed and bought a second one for my daughter's ipad.
