||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll never forget the evening I spotted this $2 lightning cable on the rack at Best Buy. “How can this be?” I thought, was I dead or dreaming? Was the decimal point misplaced? Perhaps they wanted pre-1971 gold backed dollars? Were these cables smoke damaged?? The answer is no to all of the above. It’s the best cable ever at the best price ever.

Great temporary replacement

The non Apple cables never last long because Apple has a chip in their chargers to recognize their products. So if I can get more than 3 months out of this I will be happy. The colors are a nice touch too for easy recognition.

Great cable for low price

I keep them around the house and in the car so I am never without a cable but didn't have to break the bank. The cable does feel cheap but performs great. I have had my original 4 for about 1 year and they all still work great. Would definitely recommend.

But if it was full price, there are better options out there. By this I mean for another $2/$3 you can get longer cords with 18 month warranties from other online companies. Say with 2 day shipping...But for the price of these well worth it.

Great item to keep in the car for iPhone charging

This is a very inexpensive item to use as 'cheap insurance' just in case you find yourself on the road with a low battery on your iPhone. Just be sure that you have a USB port in your car otherwise this item will not work without other item(s) that would plug into your power port. (aka cigarette lighter)
