    I bought this lightning cord because I need one for the car. I find that it does not charge my phone or my iPad at lightning speed. Sometimes it will work with the adapter plug-in and sometimes it won't. It seems very temperamental. I guess you get what you pay for. I'll go back and get the official Apple cord instead.
