I wanted a "Rocket" charger since I had already had a positive experience with that brand. I couldn't find one on the shelf, but was waited on by a patient Best Buy employee who searched until he found this charger. It works great and was already a great value, but I applied points and got even a greater buy.

Does what it is supposed to do

The coiled cord also helps take up less space as opposed to the straight cord on some chargers. The plug end is short but not too short that you would have difficulty getting a grip on it to remove it if the outlet in your car is recessed like mine.

Works but doesn't for my Speck case

So... I have to take my phone out of my case every time I want to charge it. Don't know how many other phone cases this will affect.

It works with an iPhone 5s and with a current generation iPod Touch. The grip is properly shaped to fit through Apple cases. Additionally, the charger itself is shaped extremely well to fit an outlet located in a car's armrest, where the stubby protrusion and side-directed cord don't interfere with storage.
