Only way to charge is by using USB connection which is on the back of the plug in. This is the only good feature about this charger. Buy cheap, get cheap.

It only requires them to provide two simple. but not easy design features, durability at an affordable price. Based on my experience, the manufacturer did not design the charger with those ideas in mind. In fact, once the charger shorted out, after only 2 months, the reoccurring thought of quantity over quality, seemed to be the manufacturer's only prevailing idea here.
