poor quality keyboard - mouse fine

But the keyboard has been having problems with battery connection. I put a brand new battery in it, and it stops working within a minute of me not typing. I change the batter and it works, then it stops again - I cannot do ongoing typing all the time, as I use this for work and at times I am waiting for calls. Now I get a call and I have to ask the person to wait while I re-change the battery again.... the batteries are not even bad or drained, I can keep changing the 1st to the 2nd to the 3rd battery and go back to the 1st again and it works fine - for a few moments. Something internal is going on. I didn't get insurance for this as that almost cost more than the keyboard/mouse set. Mine is only about 6 months old and going in the trash.
