I bought this to have in my briefcase for those times when I'm caught away from power and need to recharge my phone. I have a Galaxy S4 and this will do one full recharge of the phone from dead. There is a very simple LED light system on the battery to tell you whether the battery is charging, full or partially empty. You recharge it with a micro-USB. You can plug any device charging cable to it that uses a standard USB. The output is only ~1A, so enough for phones, but it will be a slow charge for tablets. I have only had it for a few weeks, so I don't know how it holds up under repeated charge/discharge cycles. There is no specification for that in the packaging. For the price, this is a cheap way to have a recharge ready when I need it.

Is a nice little product and works well to use for a quick charge. Only wish it held a charge a little longer at times, won't always bring an almost dead iPhone to full charge on its battery life.

This is a very good product and serves a vital need to those who need to charge their device when away from a plug. The charger is good for charging while travelling or in an emergency. This Dynex charger has to be one of the best and most useful items I've purchased.

I purchased the Dynex lithium battery to increase my phone time on a recent flight, but it turned out to be a lifesaver. After driving my daughter back to college I had a flat tire on the highway returning home late at night. My smartphone battery was almost gone and I remember I still had the Dynex in my purse. It gave me the all the juice I needed to get home safely.

Husband needed something to keep him charged consistently as he is often located without an outlet. So far it is working great. We'll have to wait to see what the longevity is. But happy with it currently.

Purchased this charger while on vacation. I was constantly on my phone using the camera or texting, so towards the end of the night, my phone was almost dead. I am so glad I purchased this charger because I was able to carry it with me during the rest of my vacation without having to think twice about using my phone in order to save the battery life. The only downside is that it can get a little heavy in your purse after awhile.
