During the COVID Pandemic, I ordered this product from another seller on e-Bay (not DYNEX) .. it was NOT the correct type of Mini Display Port for an Apple computer. This one fits perfectly and I am able to connect to my 30 in monitor and to my television via HDMI. The process to purchase the product was a little painful, but understandable during unprecedented times.

Of course since we all had to work from home, I had to get my wife set up for her job. I never owned a Macbook as I've always been a PC guy prior to, so when I was getting ready to set up her dual monitors, I realized that Macbook Air's don't have HDMI slots! So I had to run out and get this DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter. It's simple, works, and we needed a white one.

It's an affordable way for me to connect my Macbook to a larger screen. This is my second one. Do be careful not to bend the wire so much as it can break the wires inside. My 1st one broke after several years of "hard labor". It paid for itself. You dont need a very expensive one.

I have used it only once to connect my surface to the projector. At first it did't seem to work but then I found out that switching on the projector before connecting the cord (instead of vice versa) helped my computer detect the projector. So it worked just fine. Also, it is so much cheaper than the Microsoft accessory product.

I bought this to use with older MacBook Pros one is late 2013 and the other is mid 2012. It works properly with each MacBook to connect to external monitors with HDMI ports as well as to an HDTV.

I bought this Dynex item because the Belkin cable I had started having connection issues. Sometimes it would connect and sometimes it wouldn't. I purchased the Dynex cable and it works without any hassles. It made the connection the minute I plugged it in. It still continues to make a connection every time I turn on my PC.

I've used this adapter for a few years now. I use it when we travel. It connects to my Microsoft Surface Pro, and using it with an HDMI cable, we are able to cable in to the hotel room TV and thru Dish TV, watch our DVR'd programs. We like that we can keep up on our programs remotely.

My wife and I have been Mac addicts since the early 1990s, and have accumulated a great deal of hardware and software over the years. We both currently use MacBook Air. My wife acquired a beauriful 23-inch monitor a few years before getting her MacBook, and needed a means to connect to the monitor's HDMI port. The Dynex adapter did the trick, at very reasonable cost.

I got this mini Display Port to HDMI adapter because I wanted to plug my computer up to my HD monitor. Using this cable it was simple plug as I use it as an extended display cable to my monitor. Very clear and easy to use. The price was great as well.

This cable is a bargain compared to similar products. It works as intended and supplies an excellent picture. I would definitely recommend this brand of adapter.

My previous one (3rd party) died and stopped working. This was a great substitute. It works as it's supposed to and way better priced than the official Apple product. I use it with my 2012 MacBook Air.

This adapter is priced well and works with my 2015 Dell XPS 13 to transmit video and audio to my 1080p television. The build quality seems to be high; the physical connections to the Mini DisplayPort and HDMI port are solid and not loose. This came packaged in just bubble wrap, but it had a plastic cover on the Mini DisplayPort end, and had wrap covering the plastic parts of the adapter.

Great for adding a second desktop screen. You could also use a wireless adapter but this always works. I needed this solution because I was replacing my surface pro screen had removed the screen and accidentally turned in the tablet. I used this to connect an external screen and turn the tablet off!

Plug & play in the most literal sense, easy "install" if you call it that... had extra sdmi cables from initial cable set up in the apartment, super convenient a kid could put this together for converting.

It's a solid cable that gets the job done! I'm using a TV as a monitor which has it's own special issues but this cable works just fine. I originally got it because the Sureface Pro 4's screen will glitch out after a while if it gets too hot. Once I started using the external monitor, I don't have any issues!

My son loved it. Good price and available., just the way i like shopping. Grateful it was available to me. I will continue to purchase from best buy just for that reason. Battling the malls were not an option. Went online and it was yhere. Thanks again, great experience.

I purchased this on a lark to connect an older LCD TV that I have to my iMac. It worked like a charm and was dead simple to use. Sadly though the LCD TV was old enough that the picture looked like far worse than I thought it would. The little TV is almost 10 years old and while it looked good back in the day it doesn't look so hot compared to tv's of today. I decided to hang out to though as I am sure I will run into a situation where I can use it again.

Working from home required me to use my surface with a home monitor so I needed to purchase this very unique connection. It was a fraction of the price of the. And brand and works perfect so my ~10in surface screen can be 24in!

It was a great adapter and well constructed. I made a mistake or somewhere there was one, cause it was for an iphone and I don't have an iphone. :-) But anyway I'm happy to get it returned easily and get my credit card refunded and back to shopping. Thank you best Buy!

We knew there was some way to show our photos, that were saved on our MacBook Air, on our TV set. Friends told us that a mini display port-to-HDMI adapter was what we needed to be able to connect our MacBook Air to our TV in order to show our photos of a recent trip to a group of friends. The adapter does just what it's supposed to do!
