    My Yamaha receiver has only one subwoofer output, but my Polk subwoofer has two inputs. I needed the splitter to mate the subwoofer to my receiver. This did the trick.

    The above says it all. While it works, it seems like there is some interference and the thing looks cheap enough to break after a few plug/unplugs. I returned it and ordered elsewhere.

    I bought this to connect to my JBL subwoofer. My Yamaha received only had a single Sub output, but the JBL had a L & R Sub input. This worked great to get my sound on both channels.

    I got this to split my single subwoofer cable to the left/right inputs. It works. I can't really comment on quality since the subwoofer is a piece of junk.
