Great for the price point
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Currently on sale for 40 dollars this is one of the cheapest priced soundbars that I've seen. It is a great soundbar for the price, good sound quality and keeps its clarity at loud volumes. It isn't the slimmest soundbar but but it's not very bulky either.

Just meets expectations on price/performance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to improve on the "Tin can" audio out of my thin 27" flat TV (that produces thin flat sound too)... At it's price and sound quality. this device just met the expectations and fit the need %100 (no more then that). It sure can not compete with the surround sound system in our living room.... and I did not expect that at all. Some reviews are from people expecting a $5K sound from a $40 speakers... Really?! I hooked to this one of those small (and cheap) powered sub woofers and the sound is really (really) nice. Try that

good for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This soundbar works pretty well and provides good sound for the price, though I've only be able to use it with the provided 3.5mm audio cable, rather than the optical digital connection, so I'm sure it would sound even better with that. This is what makes me wish it had a coaxial digital connection as well, since that is the only option provided by the TV and Blu-Ray player that I have the soundbar connected to.

I Have 3 so far.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 3 of these on 3 different tvs. 2 are connected with the 3.5 mm audio and the other with the Digital Optical cable. I'm very pleased with the sound on all of them. If you are hesitant to buy a $300 sound bar, try one of these first. Buy one on sale and you won't be disappointed.

Great for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Are there better soundbars out there? Absolutely, if you want to spend hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars. I bought this one to give to my brother, because I could longer stand the horrible, tinny sound produced by his TV, and I was amazed at how much better the sound was. Dialogue was much clearer and there was actually some BASS. Does it compare to the 5.1 sound system I have emanating from my Yamaha AV receiver and Polk Audio speakers? No way, but it's a great value for the money.

basic sound bar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it for the bedroom, couldn't get it to work properly. The optical port didn't work. Aux port worked fine. Sounds better than expected. Tried to exchange it but the local stores didn't have any in stock.

Good Basic Soundbar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good, basic sound bar. We had the problem when we got a flat screen that some things, with lots of bass (like explosions) would cause the speakers on our TV to buzz. We didn't want a THUMPING system, but something that got rid of the buzz. This fit the bill perfectly.

IT makes the sound better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this sound bar like nearly any other does sound better than most built in speakers on flat panel tvs. I have had this one on my Sony 32 inch led tv. it does have three different sound presets to use with sports, normal, or movies depending on sound you want. I have the sound from my tv in one input one from my satellite box and one from my compte. As a side effect, I can listen to the tv without having the tv on or while using my tv being used as my computer moniter. This is a good entry level sound bar, but since you cannot link it to your tablet since it does not have Bluetooth capabilities. Insignia does have a step up version that does include Bluetooth option. You can also add a subwoofer to it if you have one as an option.

Sturdy and sounds good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought one last year to go a long with a TV and Sony Android device on the deck. We got it because it came free with the TV (part of a sale), but it's worth spending some money on after all. The sound is good, it has a good range from bass thru highs, without any one level drowning out the others. We were most please to find that, after the whole set up got blown into the yard in a storm because I didn't anchor the canopy well, that everything survived. While not soaked in three feet of water or anything like that, it definitely got plenty wet, and was none the worse for the wear.

Great Deal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product came well packaged and delivery was on time. Setup takes only a few minutes. For the price, it's hard to beat the product. Sound quality is good and better than TV speakers by far. No subwoofer included, which would add depth to the audio, but the speakers are wired to accept a sub-woofer. I've got a Sony CT-260 on another TV and, absent the subwoofer, the Dynex speakers can hold their own against the Sony soundbar. Net, net: A real bargain.

Great Soundbar for a bedroom
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this sound-bar for my kids room and let's say I was impressed on the sound. Let's make it clear, it doesn't sound like my sound-bar that I paid over $200 but $40 is a great price for this Dynex sound-bar.. I am would recommend this bar for a small to medium room.

Great Soundbar for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great sound bar for the price! My TV which is a Westinghouse 40 Inch cause the sound bar to have a buzzing sound, but every other device worked well. You can buy a digital optical audio cable and that should fix the buzzing. The sound has decent bass and treble, a lot better than my TV.

Big sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WOW! I purchased this to use in a large room for movie viewing and it is great. The TV speakers just would not cut it and this is just what i was looking for. The quality for the price was amazing and I would defiantly recommend this for anyone trying to stay in a budget and looking for the best quality.

Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought an Open Box yes I was a little skeptical because I always buy Sony Products it sound alright but needed some bass. When a friend gave me a Onkyo Subwoofer it sound like my friend Sony System even she was shock at the sound that came out of it she kept looking at it and said I can't believed it a Dynex and it only cost $53 now I am going buy an optical cable I am using the red and white cable for now, I know it will sound really great with the optical cable. If you buy this soundbar invest in a subwoofer it will make a big differents and really bring out that sound.

Better sound than TV but no volume
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a gift for my father and installed it for him. At low volume it sounds a lot better than the TV did. But it does not get very loud. Does not get above what the TV was at low volume. For his use normally this will be OK but with more people around and you want to turn it up there is no more volume to get from them.
