The microphone isn't fancy, but it does the job it is designed for very well. It sits on my desk at work and I use it when I have a web conference or internet phone call. The extended boom puts the mic closer to your mouth to have better pickup.

I purchased this for use with Dragon naturally speaking. It functions fairly well, there is a volume control at the base which seems to help with dictation. The base is not very heavy, but it is strong enough to hold the microphone upright, . It is not built to last the test of time, it is a lightweight, adequately built microphone. The only irritation I have found is the power light that is to the USB port flashes constantly for no reason. It is there to indicate that it has power, but it is not a solid light. I have seen it be solid but for the most part it just sits there and flashes.

Got this microphone to use with my computer. Price was excellent, very easy to set up and very nice looking. Can't get any better for the price!

Great product for the price. I would recommend to anyone who needs to use it for speaking especially the program dragon. also it works if you are not a great typer either. Was easy to install on the computer. Also when using the product it was very helpful if not a companion with wanting to type by speaking instead. I would recommend to anyone are also not very user friendly with the computer also.

I needed to make a vocal recording over prerecorded music, and the built-in microphone on my computer just wasn't adequate, qualitatively. For a modest price, this product gave me what I needed.

Works well for recording audio. With online communication over the internet it has a great deal of interference and lack of clarity. Great if you are only wanting to record audio on your computer. I would only recommend for this purpose.

This speaker is easy to use and hook up but when I play back a recording, the picture does not stay in sync with audio. It might be an issue with the recording not the microphone.

it's ok. but I found another option. I went with a separate handheld recorder so I could be portable.

The microphone is inexpensive and has good construction. I only needed to plug it in to set it up, Windows did the rest. I get good sound quality through my external speakers. I've had the mic over three feet from my mouth and the people I'm talking to said my voice was very clear. Worth the price.

This is great budget mic, the only thing i suggest is to use a good recording program with it.

i was happy with the product, much more than the $200 dollar one I had that died because the internal battery wore out over non consistant use. Can only get a new battery from them at 30 bucks and did not provide that bit of information in the manual. This one cost less than that battery!
