The port is a tight fit for cables, so that's either good, or you have to break them in. The charger itself is a bit big; I wish it could be a little less bulky. But I'll take the functionality at this point.

USB Outlet

This outlet has the same voltage as the more expensive apple outlet, and more than likely is made in the same or smilier facility as other name brands. I recommend it.

It takes the 110VAC from the wall and converts it to 5VDC for my phone charging. But joking aside, it does what a transformer rectifier should do, with the output to a female USB port. Works great so far - only a month though.
