Very nice looking and well running machine, has 10 settings for fan speed, and you are able to toggle on the humidification. Takes 3 minutes for the UV warm up and kill the bacteria in the water, but that doesn't take away how well it works. Design is less complex than would be guessed and it is easier to clean than anticipated. It does let you set your room to desired humidity and does a good job. Only thing to emphasize is that it is a cool mist humidifier, and when you are not humidifying the air, then you have a cooling fan, there is no heating.

I first thought who would pay almost $500 for a humidifier when you can buy them for $50! I've owned many inexpensive ones over the years and hated every one and threw them our after a season or two when the filter etc. got nasty. The Dyson is a breed apart and delivers nice fresh humidity with very little noise, pretty much as advertised. I use filtered water in the unit and after 2 months see no evidence of a need to clean the tank or anything. The only flaw, and it's not insignificant, is that reinstalling the top piece (they call it the loop) after filling the water tank can be a real challenge. Especially when you have to do it daily, every time you fill the tank. The loop is supposed to easily snap in to the water tank, but instead you have to push it down fairly hard and sort of twist and rock it until it snaps in. This becomes a learned skill, but there were times I didn't think it would snap in place. Anyway I still like the way it performs but I think Dyson will need to address this to meet the otherwise high standards of this dehumidifier

I have been using it for a month and not once have I had to deal with the slimy gunk that would grow in the water of other humidifiers I have tried. It is very nice to be able to adjust the level of humidity and the fan does a good job of dispersing it. Also works as a fan so I don't have to store it in the summer

I love this humidifier. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I wish the tank was a bit bigger. Other than that, it works well, is so quiet and has a built in system that purifies the water. It also doubles as a fan if you turn the humidifier feature off, which is a huge bonus!

Great for use in small to medium-sized rooms. If you have hard water, it will leave a layer of dust on hard surfaces. In this case, you must use distilled water to fill tank. Make sure unit is not set too close to walls, as this impacts its ability to correctly sense RH% levels. Even on highest speed, it is fairly quiet. Also can use as a fan without humidification to circulate room air. Make sure to follow cleaning/maintenance schedule to maximize results.

I love Dyson products. I have a fan,and a vacuum. I waited a year for this to be in the USA market. It is very quiet, Easy to fill, and take care of.It has a remote control. The most important feature to me is that the mist is 99.9 percent bacteria free.

Purchased as a gift for Hubby, but kids are using more! The cool mist blows out the purest and cleanest air, and it's very quiet. Very easy to refill, and it takes almost a week before needing refill, versus other humidifiers we've purchased. Very expensive, but worth every penny if you want a high-quality humidifier!

Only downside is the price. It's easy to clean and it's super quiet.

Although the Dyson humidifier is rather expensive, it has made such a difference with the humidity in my bedroom. It is definitely worth the price I paid for it. I can breathe so much better during the night. It is also very quiet. For the first three days or so I could hear the water which made me wonder if something was wrong, but the noise stopped. It's so quiet that sometimes I will look to make sure it's not out of distilled water. I immediately noticed a difference after it started working and it doesn't even compare to other humidifiers I've owned.

Bought this unit because I needed to increase my bedroom humidity level for a dry mouth. I wear a CPAP and needed more humidity than it could provide. The humidifier at the lowest speed and humidity set to 65 easily and comfortably brings the room up to 64ish % humidity. Great product so far. Had it for about 5 weeks.

This baby is sweet! Meet little magnitzed remote control. You can adjust the humidity level, & it shuts off when out of water, or when the room is at correct humidity level. Nice product for $350.00.

This is a nice, quiet humidifier that I use in my bedroom. With the change of seasons and the need for our furnace, this humidifier lets me sleep through the night. It's also easy to move to our home office and the family room for added comfort! Dyson makes great products!

We use this Dyson humidifier in the nursery. It is amazing - quite, works well and does the job with no issues. Healthy and happy baby!!!

The Dyson cool mist herrmidifier works better then I was thinking it would be very quiet it almost seems like it isn't on cuz of how quiet it is.
