I have had my eye on this fan for a couple of years in hopes the price would come down a bit but that didn't happen. I finally got one in spite of the high price. It achieved the desired effect as far as the choppy air being gone. The LIGHT showing the speed setting number is MUCH TOO BRIGHT. It lights up my entire bedroom and is very annoying for trying to sleep. I block it with a piece of black poster board so can't use the remote. That is not much of a problem though.
