I have a lot of external disk drives connected and I need airflow and I don't wanna hear about, if you get my drift. I've have standard fans, but they make various noises depending upon location and airflow. This is a great buy that did the trick!

Looks great and I hope it keeps working a long time because it was expensive (at BestBuy) It seems quiet at first, compared to a rotary blade fan, but the more you hear it, the more you hear it, if you get me. Ceiling fans are a better choice for quiet, if you are using it in a location where you can install a ceiling fan. If not, this is pretty quiet. I only use it on the lowest setting, and it is not too very loud.

The fan is quiet and easy to clean. No worries if you have small children

Why get a swamp cooler or air conditioning for your warm room when all you need is this fan? It is so quiet that I hardly notice that it is on. I like to sleep cool and this solves the problem. I'm so glad I chose a Dyson fan!

I thought this was an overpriced item based on the Dyson name but the difference in air flow was well worth the money in every way. I would never believe it if I didn't experience it. Everyone that sees it agrees with me. And I don't spend money easily.

I would recommend this product for an office/home setting. The fan is quiet and the design is modern and sleek looking. The color selection is nice too. A bit pricey but worth it.

Other than just being a fan, it's pretty sleek and quiet, the two things that add the price premium to this appliance. And with a recent addition to the family, I also like the fact that there are no blades. Did I mention it looks cool? Oh yeah, I did.

This Dyson Fan is a great fan, air is extremely cool.

Bought the Dyson - AM06 Desk Fan in Iron/Blue for my home office and it is a rock star in keeping me cool. The fan is so quiet I can use it on any setting during conference calls without anyone noticing it's 2 feet from me.

The Dyson - Am06 Desk Fan not only cools as well, or better, than a fan with blades, but it’s practically silent, especially at low speeds (speeds range from 1-10) and aesthetically pleasing. Not to mention its role as a potential conversation piece!

I wasn't to sure about this fan, but thought I would give it a try and I love it...

Good power and "wind" capability; love the fact that there are NO blades to clean.

I love Dyson products. This is my second fan and it works great. I think the design is also sleak and fun. It's different than the standard fans. Get it when it goes on sale. So you can kind of convince your self why you spent so much on a fan:)

Whisper quiet on lower settings and use as a desk fan. Higher settings obviously generate a bit more noise, but much more tolerable than most fans. Haven't thought twice about the price since purchased.

Nice desk fan very modern ,but for the price I don't know if it's that nice. Bladeless fan does not mean no maintenance just get a dry rag and run it through the inside of the ring and the bottom where air is collect. Dust will pile up depending upon location and if you have pets. Over all a really good looking fan

This is truly a great devise. It can be targeted on an individual or fan a 50 degree area. It’s very powerful and relatively quiet versus a traditional rotary blade fan. I highly recommend this item.

I bought this fan because I saw the performance of a different Dyson fan model and really liked it. I bought this one because of its size, quietness and the power it has. I'm very impressed with Dyson's fans. Would recommend them to everyone!
