If you told me when I was a kid that someday I'd pay three hundred dollars for a fan, I would have been so excited because clearly that meant that I would become a millionaire . LOL, nope, but I did pay three hundred dollars for this silly fan. Do I regret it? Nope. Just like I don't regret paying 3 times as much for a computer because it's an iMac. The aesthetics of the Fan make it far less of an eye sore in the room than if it were the old fashioned traditional fan. Not only that, it uses much less power. So hey.... if you're willing to shell out a bit more for aesthetics over functionality, this is a great fan for you. I drank the kool aid, you should too.

I couldn't be happier with this heater if I tried! I purchased it as supplemental heat for a bedroom in an older home, which has had very little heat for years. Initially I intended to only use the heater to warm up the room before bed, but ended up using it all the time, including while sleeping. I feel completely comfortable doing this because there are no exposed heating elements and because the thermostat does an amazing job of regulating the temperature. I have read other reviews which stated that it was not worth the money spent on it, and I have to completely disagree, this is worth every penny! I can't wait to see how well it does keeping the room cooler in the summer! Would I recommend this to a friend - Absolutely! Without a doubt.

Purchased for my bedroom. lightweight, portable, very quiet, stylish design. I use setting 3 or 4 and you don't even know its on, but get the effects of a light breeze. Definitely recommend this fan.

I love this fan, I felt a little sick spending so much but I loved it immediately because it's quiet, keeps me cooler when I have it blowing right on me, still can talk on phone when on high, use air conditioner less, so easy to clean, takes less space!

I really love this fan. I have it on a bedside table and it keeps me cool during the night. It's reasonably quiet and doesn't generate that much noise until you turn it to "6" or higher. I love the fact it has a remote and I can have it turn from facing my bed to facing my desk when I'm doing work and could use a bit of fresh air. The only drawback I can find with it is that the LED that shows what speed setting on which the fan is set is a little too bright, especially when it's ~2 feet from my head when I'm going to sleep. I wish there was a way to dim it, but over the course of however many months I've owned it, I have gotten used to the brightness. I will certainly look to buying the larger, different model, in the future. And again, the remote control makes this Dyson steps above the last generation.

Quiet, smooth air flow. Ridiculously easy to assemble.

Really nice fan that throws out a constant air current. If you have a really hot room though dont expect a miracle worker as i did. Other than that though the fan is nice

I’ve wanted this product for years. When I first saw the display at the bestbuy store, I thought to myself “ wow, this blows out cool air as an air conditioner, but it’s just a fan !”. Because this product is expensive, and the description of it makes it seem as though it’s high quality, it gave off the idea that it blows out really cool air even on the hottest days. So yesterday I finally bought it, excited to see how it works after reading all of the good reviews, and let’s just say I’m returning it today. Less than 24 hours I’ve had the product and it serves no purpose . It blows out whatever air temperature the room is currently in. So if it’s 99 degrees outside and your room is super hot, this product is completely useless. It’s only cold in stores because the store is already cold !. Again, because of the price ( over 300 dollars) and the description of this product I thought it would do way more than a regular fan for $10 would do, but it does the same job. I do not know why this is so expensive , because it’s the exact same as a regular fan for a much cheaper price. I advise everyone that if you decide to spend hundreds of dollars on this, please don’t. I’m going today to exchange this for an actual air conditioner that’s actually less expensive than this. And with the remote being a part of this and being able to set a timer etc, doesn’t mean anything if it doesn’t even blow out cool air. Maybe I’m silly for thinking it was going to be a little cooler than your average fan, but this is absolutely not worth the amount that it’s for, not in the least. Just buy an actual air conditioner.

Bought it today 8/20/16....Returned 8/20/16 (30 minutes later) The only word to describe this article is that is simple expensive toy, which does not comply with it box promise, and expectation. in the beginning I thought that its air conduits were blocked... but no!!!! there is simply no air coming out from it. My wife laugh at me, and to make it worst she compare her Insignia 4 inches fan with my new Dyson..... yes, you guess is right! Hers produced more air. Don't spent your time or money on this.

Seriously, no remote included. Ordered it online, the remote was a big plus. Now It won't oscillate, etc, because it came with no remote. Not Happy that I'm now going to have to return everything. No wonder it was on sale. Don't order online.
