Good Fan for a small room

I got it thinking it would cool that my living room during the past heat wave. However, it did not. It did cool down the living room just a bit. For its size, I recommend it more for a bedroom rather than a big space. If you are looking to cool a bigger space, I recommend just getting an A/C unit.

Overpriced!

For a $350 fan there isn't even a handle! Dust collects at the bottom and the holes are very tiny. It's okay but I see nothing to justify the price, if I am honest.

Too much for low cooling
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Made from low end materials. The motor that blows air appears to be from an inflatable bed. The only good thing about this is that its low noise. You would have to have a working HVAC and use this as a supplemental fan. My HVAC broke down in the high triple digits and this Dyson Tower Fan did not due any justice, I was very disappointed since i do have a Dyson Vacuum. In summary: Made from Low end Materials, Blower from inflatable, Low noise, not enough CFM for a 12x12 room, not enough cooling for a high price tag. I went out to purchase 12000 BTU Air Conditioner instead for almost half the cost and works a whole lot better.

Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air. Great fan but NOT an air purifier

For the money, you might as well get the air purifier version.

All the review point to it being so good and blow cold air. But when I got it, it wasnt as good as the reviews say. The only think I like is that it can go up to level 10, and it's a bit quiet.

It's worth every penny and in spite of all the 90° weather that we've been having here, I have been cool, without having to turn up the air conditioner.

Good Fan

I've read reviews previous to this purchase that mentioned it is quiet. Older versions of Dyson fans must have been really noisy in order for this one to be considered quiet. It's not totally quiet but the noise level of this fan is tolerable, even while I'm sleeping.

Expensive, but much more efficient and quiet than any I’ve seen. The only issue is the speed setting indicator on the base. It is quite bright during the night. Almost too bright.

I got it on a daily Christmas deal for 50% off. I also had rewards to use so I got it for cheap which helped. The 10 speeds and remote are nice. Consistent air and not choppy.

It does sound like a mini jet engine when on, but it works well and keeps you cool. Works best if writhing 5 feet of fan. Of course having no blades is great for homes with young children.

It's nice to have 10 settings to choose from. The timer comes in handy, too. I was hesitant to spend so much on a fan at first, but now really glad I did!!!

Our AM07 Air Multiplier is our newest machines that have been re-engineered to be up to 75% quieter and more energy efficient without compromising performance. The fan has re-engineered airflow paths for reduced air turbulence. This makes it quieter and more energy efficient. The machines have a number of new features such as remote control, sleep timer and improved oscillation. A high velocity jet of air exits the loop amplifier and creates an area of low pressure that draws in air from behind the fan. I hope the information provided proved helpful.
