The only pro is that it is quiet and effectively moves cold air depending on the room temperature. The cons are related to the remote and the fan's display. You can’t see the display, especially if you’re using it in a bedroom. You have to point the remote directly at the bottom of the fan where the display is located for it to work. This means that if the fan is facing in any other direction, you have to get up because the remote becomes useless. Considering the price of this fan, why can’t it be controlled via Wi-Fi? Almost every new bladeless fan comes with a remote and is Wi-Fi enabled, often at half the price. By the way, if you think the more expensive Dyson fans can be controlled via Wi-Fi or an app on your smartphone, they still only use the remote. The Wi-Fi feature is mainly for checking air quality and the filter status. If anyone reads this, I recommend not buying this fan. Instead, consider the Dreo bladeless fan, which costs half as much. Its display is on the top, and you can control it via Wi-Fi through an app on your smartphone or use the remote.

Best fan ever!

My daughter walked past it and didn't even realize it was on! The remote is magnetized to the top of the fan. The controls are easy to understand. I have allergies so a bladeless fan means there is not a lot of dust blowing around.

It moves a great amount of air at a large number of variable speeds, is relatively quiet, and is easy to clean. The remote -- that attaches magnetically to the unit for storage -- is a great feature.

Great up close

It states it's 60% quieter than previous models, but still fairly loud compared to cheaper tower fans. It is a good fan, but not sure if it's $300+ good.

My bedroom is upstairs and has a pull-down door to our attic that has no insulation. My room is always unbearable to stay in during the summer because it captures so much heat. While this fan doesn’t make my room as cool as I would like (seeing as how it’s a fan and not a miracle worker) it did an excellent job at keeping my room cool enough to where I could sleep without sweating. The only issue I’ve had with it is that the vent area towards the bottom of it collects dust very fast. As long as you keep up with cleaning it it’s a great addition!

It is very light weight so I can easily move it from one room to another. It is very easy to clean and when it on the lower setting you cannot hear it at all. It really comes in handy on hot days with a nice relaxing breeze.
