Posted .Hi this is Jay with Dyson. AM07 is a tower fan that blows non-buffeted air and provides a smooth experience. Air Multiplier technology cools a person by blowing air around them and it is very effective. Best wishes, Jay Dyson Online Support

I got it thinking it would cool that my living room during the past heat wave. However, it did not. It did cool down the living room just a bit. For its size, I recommend it more for a bedroom rather than a big space. If you are looking to cool a bigger space, I recommend just getting an A/C unit.

Too much for low cooling

The only good thing about this is that its low noise. You would have to have a working HVAC and use this as a supplemental fan. My HVAC broke down in the high triple digits and this Dyson Tower Fan did not due any justice, I was very disappointed since i do have a Dyson Vacuum. In summary: Made from Low end Materials, Blower from inflatable, Low noise, not enough CFM for a 12x12 room, not enough cooling for a high price tag. I went out to purchase 12000 BTU Air Conditioner instead for almost half the cost and works a whole lot better.

Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air. All the review point to it being so good and blow cold air. But when I got it, it wasnt as good as the reviews say. The only think I like is that it can go up to level 10, and it's a bit quiet.

Great fan but NOT an air purifier

For the money, you might as well get the air purifier version.

FANTASTIC!!

It's worth every penny and in spite of all the 90° weather that we've been having here, I have been cool, without having to turn up the air conditioner.
