Made from low end materials. The motor that blows air appears to be from an inflatable bed. The only good thing about this is that its low noise. You would have to have a working HVAC and use this as a supplemental fan. My HVAC broke down in the high triple digits and this Dyson Tower Fan did not due any justice, I was very disappointed since i do have a Dyson Vacuum. In summary: Made from Low end Materials, Blower from inflatable, Low noise, not enough CFM for a 12x12 room, not enough cooling for a high price tag. I went out to purchase 12000 BTU Air Conditioner instead for almost half the cost and works a whole lot better.

I'm sitting here now, enjoying this fan that has been the best buy in years! It's worth every penny and in spite of all the 90° weather that we've been having here, I have been cool, without having to turn up the air conditioner.

Kind of disappointed. All the review point to it being so good and blow cold air. But when I got it, it wasnt as good as the reviews say. The only think I like is that it can go up to level 10, and it's a bit quiet.

It's a fan and it blows! I had always been skeptical of these bladeless fan systems. I always figured it too good to be true. I was definitely proven wrong. I used to keep a box fan running in my room as it gets hot with a PC build that doubles as a space heater in the Winter. Since getting the Dyson, it's helped keep the room much much cooler, while being quieter and moving more air, not to mention it rotating while doing so. I do like the simplicity of it and the simplictic design. The heigt of it I think really lends to it's abilities to cool as it's able to cool a great deal more than my cheap box fan. The assembly of it was quick and easy, took maybe a minute to get it assembled and powered on. I does stay on throughout the day, so it's longevity will be put to the test as I work from home and my room has poor air circulation. I think one big benefit will be that this uses less energy I think than the box fan while accomplishing more. I've not used it any higher than the 4 setting, partly from sound, but I don't need that much when 3 or 4 are fine. It's not a big distraction like the box fan is, and is a fraction of the footprint space wise. This is much easier to position and works fine on carpet. It seems relatively easy enough to maintain when it comes to dealing with more dusty environments like mine. The filter that goes around the intake at the bottom is easy to clean with a rag. It may require blowing out with some compressed air from time to time. I really hope it lasts me though. For all that these cost, I'd expect several years, at least 5 out of one so time will tell. Overall I think it's great alternative to your standard box fan or raised rotating fans because they cover so much more area and move more air especially while being quieter. If you're short on space, these fans are a fantastic option.

I really like the fan's performance as far as pushing out air, but I didn't realize this fan was not an air purifier like the other Dyson units so I will be returning it to the store. For the money, you might as well get the air purifier version.

It is a good fan but I think it's worth the price.

I saw the price tag on these and always wanted one. I got it on a daily Christmas deal for 50% off. I also had rewards to use so I got it for cheap which helped. The 10 speeds and remote are nice. Consistent air and not choppy.

The fan is ok. But little to no cooling difference. At that price point, get a portable AC.

I’ve wanted this fan for sometime and finally convinced myself to get it. Expensive, but much more efficient and quiet than any I’ve seen. The only issue is the speed setting indicator on the base. It is quite bright during the night. Almost too bright.

Great product! Was a little expensive but well worth the money

The fan works great!!! My only issue is the noise level. I've read reviews previous to this purchase that mentioned it is quiet. Older versions of Dyson fans must have been really noisy in order for this one to be considered quiet. It's not totally quiet but the noise level of this fan is tolerable, even while I'm sleeping.

This tower fan looks sharp and keeps us cool. It is super quiet on the lower settings. It's nice to have 10 settings to choose from. The timer comes in handy, too. I was hesitant to spend so much on a fan at first, but now really glad I did!!!

Bought this fan and has manufacturer defect, fan got sent back even deliver to my house, and best buy did not process my refund

What this fan comes down to is if you have the money to spend. It does sound like a mini jet engine when on, but it works well and keeps you cool. Works best if writhing 5 feet of fan. Of course having no blades is great for homes with young children.

I’m a big fan of Dyson products from blow dryers to vacuums, this fan is high quality and most importantly looks nice sitting in my living room. The multiple settings and oscillation are perfect to what I need on a daily basis.

I wish I would’ve bought this earlier! This is a great fan it has a lot of settings. Yes it’s on the expensive side but the fact that you don’t have to tear it apart to clean it... Super awesome!

The air barely moves around the room, but you can rest assured that it is on because it so loud. I returned this product and got a tower Vornado instead....
