Both cooling and heating modes are very effective.

This is a great item but way to over priced i feel.

I own three Dyson products this was the cheapest of the three. It is the low budget option , if there is such a thing for Dyson heater/fans. It doesn't do cold air, doesn't oscillate and does not have a night dimmable light. It works, kicks out the heat... and didn't totally blow the bank.

We bought this because our apt's always cold because it's an old building and there's very poor insulation and ineffective radiators. The fan is not as loud as I thought it would be. It doesn't heat like a space heater but it warms the room a little more gently. "Cool" feature is just a fan.

It's fantastic! It does warm a room great. It's super quiet. The remote is great it magnetically "sticks" to the machine. It's cools you better than a table top fan. I'm super satisfied with it and I'd recommend to EVERYONE! Dyson, u did a great job!

I read many reviews and wasn’t sure about this fan. I’m happy to say that I really like it. I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s true that it isn’t that quiet but it’s also not too loud. I only got to use the heat a couple times but it seemed to work well.

I use this every day at my office, totally cool. Prefect size for a personal space. A nice feature is that you can "tilt" the fan and have it pan back and forth, hot or cold. Kinda pricey but I am glad that I spent a couple extra bucks for this satisfaction.

If I could, I would give zero stars. This was the my first and last Dyson product. Its not worth spending ridiculous amounts of money on an unreliable overpriced product which breaks down before the warranty expires. When my original Dyson fan had issues, they replaced it with the same product for free. Then I started having similar issues with the second fan. Since I had been traveling and could not contact them in time, the warranty had expired by 2 months when I got in touch with them. I do not have time, patience, or money (all of it was spent on buying the fan thinking I would not have to go through this since it was supposed to be an exceptional product) to travel for 3 hours to go to the service center for a product that I am not sure will function properly, even after a repair. I have a $20 heater from Walmart that has worked great for past 4 years. I really wish I would have gotten a second heater for the same price, instead of spending $500 on a unreliable product.

Yes, the fan is expensive, but boy does it work well. I bought this for my son who watches TV in the rec room where it's always 8 to 10 degrees cooler then the rest of the house. He's used it in the heater mode and it heats up the room in no time. The fan is great too.

The Dyson works great. Lots of features. Only have used it in the winter to warm up a 12 x 12 ft room. The question is, would a space heater at 1/2 the price do the same job? We felt the Dyson was sturdy and sat solid on the floor. The price kept me from giving it 5 stars

i bought this when the winter blast was here and temp. reached 30"S in florida. it helped warm our small bedroom . but overall if you r looking for heater please by a regular heater. this just blows warm air.

Not strong on the heat and not enough wind speed for cool setting. I will say that this is quieter than other fan but not worth the expensive price tag.

Dyson heater was defective and had to be sent back to the factory.

We like a fan at night and ceiling fans dry my eyes. So this is perfect, some ambient noise and variable air speeds. We tested the heating, we keep our house cool in winter and just warm the areas we're in, so this is perfect to have one appliance to do both!

They didn't have in stock in store but at least they had the sample which is great. Delivery was fast and the minute we opened the box, everything was basically self explanatory. We had it on overnight and no complaints. Love it!

This is fancy and quite fan, but the sir flow is so weak :(

I ordered this online and I probably should have reviews the size of it. I was completely under the impression that this was a tower fan. When I got the box, I was surprised how small it was. More of a desk fan than a whole room fan.

I'm in love with this thing....and although it may seem like an expensive purchase at first, it will actually save you money in the long run by not having to cool/heat your whole entire house.

I purchased this fan For the reason of moving cool air. Wasn’t going to have an a/c so needed a somewhat suitable replacement. The fan works awesome. Moves plenty of air. Would be 5 stars if it had a little more of a cooling feature.

We like a fan at night, but the ceiling fan dries my eyes. This fan has the right white noise, the remote is great and come winter we can move it to the bath as we like a cold sleeping environment but like it warmer after a shower.
