I have a Geek Contact. I set it up as best I could. FYI 55 million Baby Boomers. We shop we need MORE service. I have a Smart Phone; whenever I go into the store I feel more confident using the product.

It could just be I have an older home and poor insulation played a factor. My small office I was using it in didn’t feel any warmer unless I kept the door closed. All-in-all I ended up returning it.

Posted .Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that in your use, you were disappointed with the AM09 Fan + Heater. I'm happy to inform you Dyson AM09 will have a few features which are worth noting as it relates to heating mode. To begin with, the heater will need to be set above the current room temperature in order for your machine to function at its optimal performance, as it will go into a standby mode as it reads the room temperature, awaiting the temperature reading to drop below what it has been set to. Also, your machine will work with two airflow modes, as part of Dyson Jet Focus technology. This will allow you to set your unit to blow out in a diffused mode for whole room use or focused mode for personal heating. Dyson AM09 will also will have an air flow control which will increase the speed of the air expelled from the machine, this can be adjusted with the remote control. You will have power settings ranging from 1-10. The only reason we decided to keep it is for the baby as it is fanless. If the fanless feature isn't a big thing for you, then go with those $20 fans or heaters.
