The bristle layout makes it nearly impossible to pick up anything. I have cats and even a little fur makes the blockage even worse. This will be useful after I hack at the bristles to allow this tool to actually suck up anything. Very, very disappointed. Oh, and you need to buy a separate adapter to attach it.

I can confirm that if you have a newer Dyson machine that features the red tabbed quick release attachments, you would require the use of an adaptor to attach this older model tool to your machine. This tool features a swiveling brush head with an ultra-slim profile to reach difficult spaces. The soft nylon bristles help to remove dust and allergens. Okay but could be better

The product works great, but it’s a little awkward to use. It would be so much better if it had an extension to use with the hose. Wouldn’t recommend because of this!

However, I find the hose attachment awkward to use in itself. Unless you use the hose attachment a lot, this probably is not worth the investment.

I have a canister vacuum and one part doesn't attatch. But the tool does and works great. But since it doesn't lock into place it does tend to move a little bit. But Overall I like it.

Too bad this tool is useless. It struggles to pick anything up because the foam around it just moves it away from suction. I turned the rollers off on the main vacuum and went right over the floors just fine. This piece is quite unnecessary. Just turn the rollers off on your vacuum and go right over the floors.

Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The articulating hard floor tool is not intended for use on our cord-free machines. It's designed to fit standard on our upright and canister machines. If you do use it on a cord-free machine, then yes, you would need to use an adaptor.
