I was disappointed while I was using it. I got my finger pinched with the hose while connecting the device and when I tried to vacuum the floor, the vacuum cleaner had a tendency to fall down. Not easy to use.

While this tool could fit a Dyson V8™ cordless vacuum, an adapter would be required to do so. Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. I can confirm that the articulating hard floor tool was not designed to attach to the V11 Animal cord-free. This tool will generally fit all upright and canister models. Your cord-free machine will only allow non-motorized tools to fit that have the red attachment latch. Anything with the older gray latch would not attach or work properly without the use of an adaptor. BestBuy team tried it in the store during the return and it did work for them as well. It is better if Dyson clearly calls out the model that would work for this item.

Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The articulating hard floor tool was designed to fit on our corded upright and canister models. You technically could use the tool on your cordless V10, but you would need an adaptor which would fit between the wand of the machine and the tool.
