When my husband burnt something while cooking it went into high gear to clear the air (and the unit is I the living room). I had no idea that something like that put particles in the air AND I also learned about nocturnal emissions that happen while we’re sleeping…this purifier even senses that and cleans the air!!

A nice low hum during the night when operating at speeds 5 and below. Even going to full speed doesn't make this machine all that loud.
