Posted .Hi there, this is Jenifer with Dyson. We recommend replacing the filter every 6-12 months. That's because over time, filters can get clogged with pollutants, and even let unpleasant odors back into the room. The machine will alert you when it’s time to change filters.

Kind of worries me that this will not be manufactured anymore and i will have to buy a Dyson purifier every 5 years.
