I bought this to provide clean air and a heating and cool option. So far I have been very impressed. For me the best part is the Dyson Link app. It gives me better control then the traditional remote. I like the real time air quality data so I know what I am breathing in. It was easy to unbox and set up. It took me no more then five minutes. The AI voice control works very smooth. I am using it with my Google home devices. This is by far the best Dyson product I have bought from Best Buy in a long time. It adds style to any room in your house. I bought it knowing this in the long run will pay for itself when it comes to less sinus issues, and higher quality air.

I paid under $500 from a deal of the day special. This air purifier heats and cools large rooms quickly. This air purifier works with the app and the remote control. The remote control controls heat and cooling. The app does not control the heating elements. That is the only con that I can think of to point out. I do use this in a room with a humidifier because it forces out strong dry air. I do live in a mountain area so it is drier here. If you live in a humid place, you may not need a humidifier to use with it. The app explains the air quality in your room accurately. It was easy to start using right away. I was able to order a replacement remote control from dyson within a week. I use this Dyson 3-5 days a week. It helps me with my allergies.

Perfect for air quality control. Not as quiet as you would expect a bladeless fan to be. The heater is great and I would rate it at 3/5. The fan as 4/5 and the air purifier as 5/5. Easy to use at 5/5 and would give it a 1/5 for the price. And overall i'd say it's a 3/5. Would buy again though.

Been using continually for about 7 months now it is a dream. Extremely quiet and heater works great. Nice functions and easy to use. Was a little pricey but worth it in the long run.

We have two of these and they are quiet, easy to use, and do a great job heating, cooling, and purifier the air in our living space and bedroom. Would highly recommend.

This machine was very easy to set up. It does a great job keeping the room comfortably warm/cool. Dyson has thought of everything! (Fan control, oscillation, manual and auto controls, night mode, sleep timer, air flow and information on measured data). While this machine is very expensive compared to other heaters, it lives up to Dyson’s level of excellence.

So far this fan works great. I’ll update review if it doesn’t work great for heat as it’s summer and have not tried it yet for heat. For a fan it cools the air enough that I don’t use this fan all the time. I don’t use this fan to just clean the air. Seems it would be expensive to run this fan every day just to clean the air. I do love the controls on my phone and it’s easy to use. Remote is nice too as it’s attached by a magnetic area and easy to store and grab. Color is nice too. You can really feel the air flow enough to justify the price. It’s really a nice cool feel. I would purchase again. So far the filter read seems nice too. I was cooking and it was Smokey in the room and the air quality numbers where definitely higher than it is when not cooking. So it was picking up something. I only use this when I need it and so the air quality numbers are usually low.

Definitely notice a difference in air quality with the first use! Usually we wake up stuffy in the morning but not any more. Very easy to use. Circulates the air well and the heater feature is great. 10 air speeds and can be very quiet. Expensive but worth it!

Absolutely love this fan … works great. The heat mode on it is wonderful and works great as well. Super easy to connect and use as long as you have wifi. Filters are a little pricey but worth it

Quietly warms my office. Easy to use. Air purifier is especially nice since I have asthma. I can tell a difference in my breathing when I run it. I like that it doesn’t take up much space.

The unit is easy to set up, easy to move room to room if needed, and easy to control from my phone. At first I thought the unit readings on air quality were off as it always showed it to be good. However, lately I've had some home projects going where I have contaminated the air and the unit picked up the degrading air quality and help clear it back up quickly. Very impressive.

App and Alexa cannot turn on heat (not Dyson’s fault, some UL safety standard) 2. Pricy device 3. Filter replacement cost Overview: Before receiving this Dyson hot and cool fan + HEPA filter to test, I recently purchased a AM09, a Dyson hot and cold fan without a filter. I was a bit surprised to see how much larger the HP04 is! The base is fairly thick to accommodate the filters. It’s about 10” wide, 30” tall and weighs 12 lbs. It is very easy to setup, just need to install the filter, plug into wall and you’re read to go. I like that there are no exposed heating elements for the kids to burn their hands on or moving blades. The entire fan can pivot on the base to aim higher or lower, a feature my AM09 did not have. Operation: The included remote can control everything, on/off, hot, cold, oscillate, vent out the front of the back. When you’re done with the remote, you can store it face down on the top of the fan, the magnetic catch will hold the remote securely, a nifty feature. The iOS or Android app does the same, except you can control it from anywhere. You can do things such as turning on the heat to warm up a room before you get home. The one thing the app DOES NOT allow you to do is to control the heat. If you turn on “cool” with the app and want to go back to “heat” mode, you can’t. This seems to be a safety rule (UL 1278) and not a Dyson capability issue. This fan is also Alexa enabled, with Alexa, you can turn on the fan, set device speed, ask for temperature, humidity levels and more. Again, like the remote, you can’t adjust the heating temperature or turn it from cold to hot. Performance: The Dyson heating fan operates fairly quietly, at level 10, it does make a fair amount of noise. If you’re watching TV, you’d need to bump up the volume a bit. The noise is more tolerable at level 8. As a test to see how quickly the fan can warm up a room, I ran the fan in my room (approximately 25’x16’). Starting temp was 67 degrees, by the end of 20 minutes, it was 68 degrees (outside temp 27). So depending on the size of your room, it can take some time to make a noticeable difference. There’s an automatic setting as well, set it to the desired temp and the fan will do the rest. I was able to tell my room temperature from the 1” circular LCD screen on the fan. It gives you info such as air quality, inside temp and temperature the fan is set to. The app also shows you the temperature, humidity as well as graphs on temperature history. The filter portion will come in handy this Spring during allergy season. The HEPA filter + carbon filter costs $80 to replace, annual replacement is recommended. Overall, I really like this hot cold fan. Not only is it nice to look at, but it performs well. If you can get pass the price, and the price of the filter (1 star subtracted for cost), I would definitely recommend it.

This a great all in one fan. easy to clean. easy to setup and works with Alexa although you can only turn it on or off using Alexa commands. Its the cheaper and faster way to cool and heat and at the same time clean your air in the room. I absolutely love it and would consider getting another for my living room.

It’s really good, it can heat up my first floor of my apartment, the app is really helpful if I don’t want to get up to turn it on or control it. I really like knowing the humidity in my house too so I love that feature !

This air purifier and fan is easy to use, relatively easy to set up and fairly quiet when operating. It can provide a significant amount of information about how it is performing and it’s operation. I would recommend the product!
