The mobile app is very easy to use and you can set schedules for when your unit turns on or off. The remote is very nice, but I find myself using the mobile app significantly more. One safety feature you may find annoying is you can not turn on the heater function through the mobile app, only the remote can enable it.

What's sub-par is the software. (I also have the HP03) it will allow me to set temperature remotely, where the HP04 can only be set using the included remote. You still have all other controls remotely, just not temperature. Fix that I'd say a 5 but for now a solid 4.

I am not fond of the touch screen navigation. I am sure i will learn it with time. I like everything else about it and think its worth it especially if you have any google products in your home.
