The price almost scared me away but in the end I'm glad it didn't. As a year round allergy sufferer I set the purifier to "Auto" and it adjusts itself depending on the elements. A bonus is the Hot + Cool feature. Everything can be controlled via the Dyson App on the smartphone. It's more than convenient. A GOOD purchase!

Most annoying thing is remote has to be pointed right at the front of machine. Does put out heat but not much. I would not recommend this fan unless the price was under $200.

It’s not as powerful as I had hoped but does a good job of circulating the air in the whole room. Honestly haven’t tested all the buttons but happy with this product. The wifi connection wasn’t obvious but was doable with instructions.

Had it in the living room during the winter but did not really see the advantage of the heat component. It never went past 76 degrees Fahrenheit, even if I had the thermostat on the device set to 85 or higher. I also can’t say that the cooling component was any better. The taller Dyson fans work much better for that than this one. Definitely not worth this high price tag. If it was $300 I’d probably recommend it, but not really worth the investment.

The HP04's heating function works to bring the space to the set temperature, whether in auto mode or not. The time it takes to bring the space to the set temperature depends on individual environmental factors such as the current layout, current temperature, ventilation/current settings in the home termostat and more. All the while, when on, it'll also provide cleaner air than it inputs as it purifies the space as well.

I’ve used it to circulate air throughout the living room and it does it’s job. The remote is tiny and with kids, bound to be lost. You can use the Dyson app for remote access and convenience. Haven’t used the heat function yet but I’ll assume it works as well as the cooling function.

Now that it’s been getting colder, the fan has been great for warming up my room. The only drawback is that it can get pretty loud.
