Considering the price tag, it better be impressive. The small screen on front provides A wealth of information about the air quality which I thought was very cool. It can also link up to the Dyson app so you can control it from your phone.

I do not think that 500+ fan is worth the money. It can cool but not like AC. It has HEPA filter yes but you can have cheaper ones and buy AC. Some AC’s have their own HEPA filter too

After online browsing I realize that Best Buy's sale price was $100.00 cheaper than the Dyson Company. Service and delivery was excellent. In less than 24hrs delivered to my home. The recipient was very happy.

Very disappointed in the heating part. Appears this is an air filter that warms the room. I sent it back to Dyson and they sent replacement but same. Dyson has excellent service for customers so that is good. I have a Dyson hot cool without filters and love it! This machine does not heat, only warm. Filter is good. Does not cool a room, only fans the existing air, which I understood before buying. If your room is hot, you will only fan the hot air.

Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool purifying fans have been designed to deliver a powerful stream of cooling or heated, purified air from the front of the machine. Dyson Pure Hot + Cool units will also offer the option to divert air through the rear annular at a 45˚ angle, creating a more diffused airflow. Also, thanks to the 350 degree oscillation, Dyson Pure Hot + Cool purifying fans can be used to help project purified air around the whole room and may be used to deliver heated and purified air to every corner of the room. Airflow angles can also be customized using the remote control or Dyson Link app. You will also have the option of a Night mode which will use the machines quieter settings, reducing airflow speeds to range from 1 to 4. Night mode will also dim the display and the machine will run more quietly, making it ideal for use while sleeping. I'm also happy to share that you may customize Night mode settings in the Dyson Link App.

Depending on the size of the room, and other environmental factors such as number of doors or windows, it may take longer to see the target temperature reached. We wanted the taller floor fan but the air filter and the ability to analyze air quality is a nice feature. You will have to put this fan on a dresser or table.

It’s very quiet and pleasing to the eye. Also a great purifier with the display being great. Now the value is very low for the price, it’s one of the best options and one of the few visually pleasing but the price makes it very difficult to recommend.

We use it on the same floor as the kitchen. Most of the time it runs unobtrusively. When we cook in the kitchen, it's nice to know the auto mode will kick in when needed. The app is a great addition for control and monitoring.

I'm just not sure the price is justified. If you are able to get this on a $150+ discount than this is a great product at a fair price. Listed at full price...not so much.

Haven’t really tested the heating function yet but a single device to purify and moderate the bedroom seemed like enough of a reason to purchase

I appreciate the value-add that HEPA and activated charcoal filters bring to the heater. The Dyson app is imperfect but receives updates regularly. I do wish the filter replacement kits were priced lower than ≈ $80USD.

As a heater, i didn't realize that it had to plug directly into the wall, not a power strip (fire hazard). The plug is kind of thick, so I can no longer push a bookcase that was in front of the plug flush to the wall

This is a fan with a heater - and thats really it! Ive had it for nearly a month now. It doesnt filter for smells (if you have animals, move along. This wont cut it!), and the oxygen multiplier technology is really just fancy wording for "fan". The real kick in the teeth is that if you lose or break the remote, the replacement is $50 on amazon!! My puppy chewed ours so i had to replace it. You cant not replace it either, because you cant operate the controls on the fan itself, and the heater wont work on the app for your phone. You MUST have the remote in order to operate this fan, and thats the dumbest design flaw i can think of. This has to be geared at getting you to buy the replacement remotes for $50. This is an absolutely ridiculous product, i wont purchase dyson in the future, and im so sad i bought it and cant return it now. :/

Good for small room

The only setback is, the fun doesn’t cover a large area. I have not had the opportunity to use the heating function because of your the weather.

The adjustable temp and fan speed are great in keeping the room at desired temperature. This Best buy purchase was a smart purchase not like my HP ENVY Computer, big mistake!
