The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool purifying fans have been designed to deliver a powerful stream of cooling or heated, purified air from the front of the machine. Dyson Pure Hot + Cool units will also offer the option to divert air through the rear annular at a 45˚ angle, creating a more diffused airflow. Also, thanks to the 350 degree oscillation, Dyson Pure Hot + Cool purifying fans can be used to help project purified air around the whole room and may be used to deliver heated and purified air to every corner of the room. Airflow angles can also be customized using the remote control or Dyson Link app. You will also have the option of a Night mode which will use the machines quieter settings, reducing airflow speeds to range from 1 to 4. Night mode will also dim the display and the machine will run more quietly, making it ideal for use while sleeping. I'm also happy to share that you may customize Night mode settings in the Dyson Link App.

Failed 3 months after warranty expired.

According to the Dyson Help Line, the nearest service center to me s 150 miles away in Kirkland WA.

It will tell you how hot it is in a room. For $515 you’d expect it to freeze you. Buy an a/c unit if you want to be cool.

Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

Stopped working!

Wrong. Heat works ehh on it, the cooling aspect is nonexistent on this machine. Do not waste your money on this thing. I’ve had $20 fans from walmart work better then this thing.

I ordered my second after exchanging the first and the first day I set it up it stopped working. Dyson support said it’s been common so go take it back!

I had a unit that was a couple months out of warranty for a high pitch whistle that's happening with these units and they wouldn't offer to fix it. It's not just my machine as well, it's a lot of machines.

Our air multiplier line, unlike an AC unit that is designed to chill the air, consists of blade-less fans. The air temperature does not change, it is the air flow which cools the user. Each of the machines have the option of increasing the speed of the air expelled from the machine, which is adjusted with the remote control. Here in Texas its 30 at night and 90 in the day and allergy season is all year. So finding a combo that can handle all that is great. Setup was pretty easy, the box even comes with its own carry handle. You will need to app. the fan is a 1-10, the lower settings are pretty quiet, once you get to about 5 you do start to notice the noise. If you want to put this in a corner you can just turn it in, if you put it in the middle of a room, you have close to 360 degree fan rotation (and you can tilt it up and down). The filter will tell you the particulates in the air. Mine was green to start, though it was odd with all the allergies and my dog but Ill go with it. BTW, this will check for NO2, for those of us with a gas furnace it adds a little safery. I have only 2 complaints: when you set the heater to a temp, the Dyson almost turns the fan off. When it gets below the temp you set the fan cuts on to about midway even at night. Seems like a more continous heater would be better (less noise). You can turn on the heater from the app, even if you are on the same network. Why have the button for it if you cant change it from the app while you are at home? If you had the heater on as the last time you used it, thats what will come on when you turn it on though, I LOVE this, is it pricey? yes. But I would not give mine up.
