The word "cool" is misleading

Tried for about two hours and all it did was blow hot air. It makes no sense to buy a $400 fan that does the same work a $20 fan would do. I know its a purifier, but even then you can get a purifier for less than $100. Will be returning it very soon.

The purifier is a fan, which will circulate the air from in the room. It is not designed to change the air temperature. Rather it cools a person by moving the air over and around them.
