Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with your TP02. Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.

Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

I bought this at a discounted price, but it worse than a 80 dollar tower fan. The top part is just plastic and has a filter at the bottom. Although it comes with wifi connectivity it’s no use because it doesn’t shoot out a lot of air. At max speed and about 10 feet away you won’t feel a thing. You need to be about 2 feet away in oder to be cooled. This is the worst tower fan you can buy for the price it’s marketed at. The filter is nice touch.

Take care about buying this product, the sensor isn't real... when you add the product to the Dyson App.. Always says "Good Air" even if you are closest to a window or change the air purifier to different rooms. The only thing to test if you want to say Fair or Poor Air is opening the small door where are the sensors located obviously. If you don't want to test de Air its Great! the air works perfect with the remote control, also if you use the application to turn on or off, increase the air or schedule this device. I never writte reviews from my products, but the price of Dyson Air purifier isn't cheaper to have bad functions.

      Hi there,

Thank you for your review. We're happy to hear the overall functionality of your Dyson Pure Cool Link has been to your liking and the air quality throughout your home has been consistently good with the machine running. It is disappointing to hear you are concerned with the functionality of the Dyson Link app and the sensors on the machine.

You may be interested to know that the Dyson Pure Cool features two sensors near the base of the machine used to analyze the indoor air quality around the purifier fan. The dust sensor is able to detect particles larger than one micron such as pollen and allergens. The VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) sensor looks at a wide range of gases such as fumes and toxins. These allow the purifier fan to monitor and report on indoor air quality. In addition to this, outdoor air quality metrics are simultaneously displayed for your chosen location via the Link App.

We'd like to hear more about your experience and ensure your machine is performing as designed. Please feel free to email your contact information to [email protected] and we are keen to get in touch with assistance.

      Best wishes,
      Dan Dyson-EN_US

Don't buy this if you are planning on using this as a fan. Maybe that was my mistake but you won't feel the air flow until you crank it up to level 7 or 8. Set up is extremely easy. Snap on the top and download the app and register it. It works well with Alexa and that is also very easy to set up. However, the fan functionality is not very powerful.

Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that you found the setup of your TP02 Pure Cool Link to be so easy. We're also glad to know you've found the Dyson Link App and it's compatibility with Alexa to be so useful. I'm happy to inform you that Dyson Pure Cool Link is our tower purifying fan, which is actually the most powerful model we offer in terms of airflow that is output by the machine. Dyson purifying fans feature a 360 degree HEPA filter which is designed to draw in air from all around the machine. As a result, Dyson Pure Cool Link can be used to purify the air in a room of any size. The bigger the room, the longer the unit will essentially take to purify. The filter included in the machine has been engineered to automatically remove 99.97% of pollutants and allergens as small as 0.3 microns. This will include things like mold, bacteria, odors, pollen, pet dander and potentially harmful ultrafine particles. In regards to your machine not feeling strong, I'm happy to confirm that Dyson Pure Cool Link is engineered to operate with Dyson Air Multiplier technology. This helps provide a powerful stream of smooth air. You will also have an air flow control which will increase the speed of the air expelled from the machine. This can be adjusted with the remote control or also remotely via the Dyson Link app. You will have power settings ranging from 1-10.

We would value the opportunity to learn more regarding your experience as we are committed to customer satisfaction. Please feel free to email us at [email protected]. It will be our pleasure to provide support.
