Quiet with speed 4 compare to Honeywell that's most effective but loud. Design is simple, sleek and modern so aesthetically beautiful placed in the living room overall. Air quality seems good w/ the unit turned on and turning doesn't pose any extra noise so far. Long term reliability still unknown yet.

The Dyson Pure Cool™ Link purifier fan is acoustically designed to be quiet, with streamlined air channels for reduced airflow turbulence. It has been engineered to have a high sound quality that produces a comfortable tone of sound for the human ear. This makes it the world’s only purifier fan to receive the Quiet Mark award. At minimum setting, the noise is almost inaudible to the human ear.

I'm happy to inform you that Dyson Pure Cool Link is our tower purifying fan, which is actually the most powerful model we offer in terms of airflow that is output by the machine. Dyson purifying fans feature a 360 degree HEPA filter which is designed to draw in air from all around the machine. As a result, Dyson Pure Cool Link can be used to purify the air in a room of any size. The bigger the room, the longer the unit will essentially take to purify. The filter included in the machine has been engineered to automatically remove 99.97% of pollutants and allergens as small as 0.3 microns. This will include things like mold, bacteria, odors, pollen, pet dander and potentially harmful ultrafine particles. In regards to your machine not feeling strong, I'm happy to confirm that Dyson Pure Cool Link is engineered to operate with Dyson Air Multiplier technology. This helps provide a powerful stream of smooth air. You will also have an air flow control which will increase the speed of the air expelled from the machine. The Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

An air conditioner refrigerates the air it supplies, allowing the air in the room to be made cooler than the ambient temperature outside. Effective Fan + Filtration
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The mechanical setup of the Pure Cool Link Tower Air Purifier is trivial, a simple click in and it is ready to go. Plug it in and use the remote and it will be ready to go. I found the software setup to be as expected. One of my main frustrations is that like many WiFi connected devices, the setup only works using a 2.4 GHz SSID. So I had to login to my 2.4 GHz SSID to complete the setup. The application clearly states this on the app which is helpful to let you know that you have to connect via this method. All you have to do is connect to the device, enter in the provided password and the setup will do its thing. It also registers the product which is nice as it saves a step. The application itself is intuitive to use and gives you direct control over the device. The remote is still more snappy in terms of applying changes but it is nice to have the option of changing settings if in the other room. I found it takes about a minute to update a change in quality of air. I have it setup in a bedroom that has a window open a night. I leave it running only at night and it the filter should last well over a year. If you run it non-stop it will last about half a year as advertised. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to have some air purification while also having a fan. The big benefit of this device is that you can have it on a lower speed, I use 3, and it will still remain very quiet. I anticipate that I will move it into the living room area of my apartment in the coming days to help filter more air in the primary space. If you have used previous Dyson fan products you will appreciate the design of this one. I have a circular and a hot+cold and this is a very nice compliment to the set. I do not expect my power usage to rise by much at all given the past performance of my Dyson fans. In the time of writing this it has improved the air quality back to good which is a great sign.

The air temperature does not change, it is the air flow which cools the user. Each of the machines have the option of increasing the speed of the air expelled from the machine, which is adjusted with the remote control.

Low Power Usage and Wifi is great

It is great to be able to track air quality when away from home. Mobile app is great for tracking air quality and programming the Dyson. It doesn't cool the room much so don't let the name fool you. It's an air purifier that circulates air. The price is a bit high, but with price matching the price was much better.
