It is NOT quiet.It’s not very powerful. It’s not any better than a $40 fan. Totally over priced.

Posted .Hi Michele, this is Kelly with Dyson. I am sorry to read your review and learn how disappointed you are in your Dyson Pure Cool air purifier and fan. Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings. We wouldn't expect the fan to be overly noisy, or any louder than an average fan would be. The max sound level on the TP01 is 62 dBa.
