Air output isn't bad just too noisy and not cold air like it says. Control magnet isn't good either.

Do Not Buy This Overpriced Fan

It’s awkwardly long and for the length of the output it DOES NOT produce much air at all from the bottom of the fan. This means you have to position the fan not on a shelf or the floor but on a box to get an optimum breeze. The remote literally has to be in direct sight of the fan base and it doesn’t work smoothly as one would think a $400 fan would. Also it’s very loud once you go past speed setting 6, like noticeably. Plus $70 filters. I’d give it away if it wasn’t so expensive.

Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

I know it doesn’t have the option for cold or hot but it doesn’t keep you cool. It’s just flow room temp air .

However, the performance was a huge disappointment for me. I have other HEPA air purifiers with a fan function that provide a more noticeable difference, and I have other tower fans that do an equally adequate job at cooling. Even though the price point is reasonable as a combination of those two items, I found a dehumidifier with a fan setting to make a much bigger difference in comfort level - at nearly 1/3 the price. To each his own.
