Your machine will feature adjustable airflow settings ranging from 1-10, and an oscillation range of 180 degrees, which helps project purified air around the whole room. I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered a lack of airflow from your machine. This is certainly not what we would expect to hear, nor the experience we would ever want or expect for any of our valued owners.
In terms of cooler air, our purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. We wouldn't expect this machine to be overly noisy; in MAX airflow mode of 10, the noise level would be 62 dBa, and much quieter in the lower levels. I am happy to inform you that Dyson Pure Cool tower will offer the most airflow out of this line of Dyson purifier machines, as it is our tower fan and features the largest amplifier loop of the available models. Your fan will feature an adjustable air speed setting, from levels 1-10. In terms of cooling, air conditioning units and the Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan are two very different products that work in very different ways. An air conditioner refrigerates the air it supplies, allowing the air in the room to be made cooler than the ambient temperature outside. The Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan cools a person by moving air over and around them.
