Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air. Our air multiplier line, unlike an AC unit that is designed to chill the air, consists of blade-less fans. The air temperature does not change, it is the air flow which cools the user. Each of the machines have the option of increasing the speed of the air expelled from the machine, which is adjusted with the remote control. Don't waste the $$$$

My $15 box fan pushes just as much air and isn't that much louder. It looks super cool and obviously safer around little fingers but not worth the money in my opinion. I plan on returning this.

I hoped for so much more

My home air wasn’t working properly and got this fan to cool off an area. Even in my small bedroom at night did I need my ceiling fan on high to be comfortable. I don’t mind the loud white noise, but don’t think this fan is quiet. It is not. Unfortunately I’m going to return it and buy a much cheaper tower fan.

At the highest level, it's louder than the 10-year old stand fan I bought from Costco and not pushing enough air out. There are no physical button. If you lose the remote, you need to shell another $35-50 for a replacement.

That one only worked for 1 month and I started getting the F3 error. I got a new filter and that one has been in less than 1 week and I am getting the F3 error. I think it's not the filter.

That does generally indicate that your filter needs to be changed. We also recommend that you ensure to reset the appliance after changing the filter. To reset the appliance, turn the power off (using either the power button on the remote or the Main body) wait 60 seconds and then turn the machine back on. The fault code should have cleared. Terrible air flow

Incredibly disappointed by this.

An air conditioner refrigerates the air it supplies, allowing the air in the room to be made cooler than the ambient temperature outside. You’ll hear a faint white noise up to about level 6, but 7 and up the noise level can get annoying even with the TV on (the fan is all we heard when tv is off). Thumbs down with its airflow quality as well. With it set on max, can barely feel any air at 10’. The only thing I found good with this is it is nice to look at. Tried this for 3 days but had to return.
