My 9 year old vacuum is still chugging along but it was pointless as a fan. Very weak and not true cooling. Spending the money for the esthetic and dyson name didn't cut the mustard. Returned.

It says “cooling” system. Well ... I’ve had now for about 3 day’s. Really doesn’t seem to give off so called “cooler air” than just a fan. Our air multiplier line, unlike an AC unit that is designed to chill the air, consists of blade-less fans. The air temperature does not change, it is the air flow which cools the user. Each of the machines have the option of increasing the speed of the air expelled from the machine, which is adjusted with the remote control. Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air. Not worth the money

The remote is finicky and the air purifier isn’t that great. Save some money, buy a cheaper fan and air purifier and be still. I returned it after about 2 weeks.

I am happy to inform you that Dyson Pure Cool will offer the most airflow out of this line of Dyson purifier machines, as it is our tower fan and features the largest amplifier loop of the available models. Dyson purifying fans feature a 360 degree HEPA filter which is designed to draw in air from all around the machine. As a result, Dyson Pure Cool can be used to purify the air in a room of any size. The bigger the room, the longer the unit will essentially take to purify. The filter included in the machine has been engineered to automatically remove 99.97% of pollutants and allergens as small as 0.3 microns. This will include things like mold, bacteria, odors, pollen, pet dander and potentially harmful ultrafine particles. In regards to your machine not feeling strong, I'm happy to confirm that Dyson Pure Cool is engineered to operate with Dyson Air Multiplier technology. Very weak for the price

Unless the fan is on 10 (top and loudest setting) it’s barely moving any air. Even on 10 it’s only moving air at the low setting of my old fan. Would not recommend this product unless you were looking to throw money away.

Great fan, remote needs more range
