Posted .Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We are sorry to hear that you've been so disappointed with the Dyson TP01 Pure Cool Tower. Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.
The Dyson Pure Cool Tower TP01 air purifier will feature adjustable airflow settings ranging from 1-10, and an oscillation range of 180 degrees, which helps project purified air around the whole room. I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered a lack of airflow from your machine. This is certainly not what we would expect to hear, nor the experience we would ever want or expect for any of our valued owners. Posted .Hello Lexi, this is Kelly with Dyson. Air conditioning units and the Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan are two very different products that work in very different ways. An air conditioner refrigerates the air it supplies, allowing the air in the room to be made cooler than the ambient temperature outside. The Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan cools a person by moving air over and around them. While you can change the air speed on your Pure Cool, you cannot adjust the air temperature target. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fan easy to assemble and works very well.The only drawback is that it is awkward to move.it is very tempting to lift from the top but there are warnings not to do so, and so there is concern that someone will unknowingly harm it by lifting it wrong.Need to design an obviously safe way to move.Fans get moved often.

The fan pushes a pretty good amount of air and the air purifier seems to do it’s job well. I have been very satisfied with this purchased so much so I have since acquired Dyson vacuum cleaner as well.

It oscillates enough to cool a room. Love the remote so you don’t have to get up and turn it on. Easy set up with clear instructions.

I bought 2 of them one directly from Dyson (as I do with most of my Dyson products, 3 out of the 8 were bought at retail stores). Customer service is less than stellar these days, difficult to contact them, and I'm not too sure their records are accurate. I bought these a day apart with the Best Buy unit arriving the day before the Dyson bought one. I had difficulty registering my Best Buy purifier with Dyson for warranty. Then after a months worth of use the fault code for a filter needing to be replaced appeared on the unit that came directly from Dyson. I couldn't find out what code F6 was for, I looked in the manual, Dyson's website, tried searching it (as usual more crap came up in searches than actually what I was looking for). After calling Dyson customer service is the only time I could find out what it meant. So after a months worth of use they are going to send me a new filter! I was told it probably was a defective filter, as they should last up to 2 years. Well I can believe maybe 6 months to a year but we shall see. As a whole I do like them, they move quite a bit of air with very little noise, even on the highest speed setting it's not loud like a regular fan would be. The air in the rooms we have these seems to be fresher than previously without them. We'll see what long term results for these are, but as of right now there is no 5th star as my other Dyson products.
