I got the quality, but it’s louder than my much cheaper fan. Overall, I would recommend if you don’t mind the noise.

Almost as soon as we got it set up, allergy symptoms cleared up. It was our first Dyson product, but it was kinda flimsy for the price.

I splurged on this Dyson thinking it would pose as a dual “cooling” fan & air purfuer, and while my room felt less stuffy and cleaner overall, the fan performance was average at best. I wish the fan aspect would push more air overall! Design is modern and sleek which I love, but this Dyson just did not do enough for me to justify price. Great concept, average execution.

We're sorry to learn you found the airflow and cooling to be disappointing in the Dyson Pure Cool™. Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

One negative though, if you lose the remote you can only control the speed of the fan. It cannot oscillate without a remote.

Have to have the fan on 7 or higher to really feel it but more impressed with the purifier piece.

Very quiet in the lower settings.
