Let me start by letting you know that I love the dyson brand. They are the best....hands down. I currently own 2 dyson vacuums, the blow dryer, and hair straightener. They are fantastic products. Unfortunately this fan does not meat the same quality that I've come to expect from dyson. As an air purifier, it works great. But, if you're looking for an upright fan to really move some air, you will be disappointed. I'd definitely recommend for air purification, but I would not recommend for cooling.

The Airflow is a lot more than expected and it is very quiet. The air filter works extremely well. with a standard fan, the blades get dirty and it is almost impossible to clean so you get a lot of dust after you clean them. With this, the air that drives the fan is filtered in the base, so the "working parts" stay clean. The air comes out of a narrow slot at the rear of the opening and pulls room air with it - Works great

Super quiet for the amount of airflow. Dyson fans aren't the definition of best value, but if you want a small footprint and great performance, this is the brand to beat.

Got this fan because we have a cat and he sheds a lot. At first he didn’t like the fan, it took him a few days before he accepted the fact that the fan is not going anywhere. The fan was easy to put together. Love the remote control. So far, no problem

It works great for a small room You can totally tell it purifies the air really good. The cooling is good too. I love that it has a timer and it comes with its small remote

I am always warm at night so this gives iff just enough of a cool “breeze” while filtering the air. I wake up breathing easier and well rested!!!

Not as powerful as I thought it'd be. Doesn't work great as a fan but is a great air purifier so it does its main job well. Just don't buy it if you want to use it as a fan, too.

With a house full of dogs and a family with allergies, this was a great investment. It’s quiet and effective and also provides a cool fan in summer. Don’t lose the remote!

This is a wonderful item and I’m very glad I bought it. It is a little pricey, but when you see the benefits that are derived from this, it’s worth every penny.

It is incredible to have a fan without blades, as blades collect dust and require you to clean it frequently. The purifier is great too. It is so effective, it cuts down on my AC bill for sure.

My husband usually gets stuffy nose and dry cough if we leave a regular fan all night but when we started using this Dyson fan and purifier in our bedroom the problems went away. It's a great buy esp we got it during a Best Buy sale. Highly recommended!

This has helped keep our upstairs just a bit cooler. We have a daylight basement that gets too cold when the summer (Georgia) temperatures in our living room/dining room kitchen area get too hot. Thermostat is on the main floor and the dyson pure cool gives enough circulation so the a/c doesn't just run all day. Someday we need to install zoned hvac or dual systmes but for now this was a tad less expensive! We ran this thing 24/7 on high setting in the summer of 2019 and it made a significant difference - we had over 100 days over 95 degrees. No problems with performance and we really like the remote control and the oscillating feature. not too noisy and it's kind of cool looking too.

This device saved my life! My a/c went out, and my dogs were panting, and none of us were able to sleep. The next day, I bought this Dyson fan....came home and quickly set it up in the living room, so my dogs would be ok while I was at work. No, it does not replace my a/c, but it made watching tv tolerable, and then I moved it to the bedroom, and slept so much better. It does make a sound, which kept me awake part of the night, but my dogs slept well. I hope to get my a/c repaired this week. After that happens, I will put this in my sunroom, which gets warm, due to no ventilation. It was on sale, and an excellent buy.

I bought this to use instead of a ceiling fan following Lasik surgery. I was worried about it being quite enough to enable a sound night's sleep, but had no worries. It's very quiet, yet sufficient airflow to keep me comfortable in the night. I compared it to other popular tower fans, and decided though still pricey, it's the best investment out of all fans considered.

This is not only an air purifier but the legitimately best fan I've ever had as well. It roates a full 90° which is everything I've ever wanted for an air circulator

This fan saved my life when the August heat was at its worst. It also has air filtration. I use this fan every day. I highly recommend using in offices or small rooms.

Assembly and set-up are easy. The remote control is pretty intuititve. As an air filter, it functions wonderfully. After running for less than 30 minutes, I can tell the difference in air quality in the room (I have allergies, so I know what I'm talking about.) As a fan, I suspect it may be a bit underwhelming, but I will see once the weather gets hotter.

I bought this when it was on sale because owning a Dyson item had always been on my bucket list. I know it sounds dumb but I loved their attention to detail on design and their marketing really sold me on their products. I needed a fan for my room and had always wanted an air purifier as well so that was my excuse for making this purchase as it was both a fan and an air purifier and had a sleek beautiful design. Setup was incredibly easy and the product is much lighter than it looks. I was incredibly excited about the purchase... until I turned it on. The fan is incredibly weak. I live in a hot and humid area so I wanted a fan for when I slept at night so I wouldn't have to use the a.c. before I was using a small cheap fan but I didn't like how noisy it was and it didn't oscillate either. Well, the Dyson fan does oscillate but I'm surprised none of the comments here have mentioned the noise this fan makes. Once you put it on level 7 or higher there is a loud noise that is akin to white noise or the noise you get while on an airplane. It sounds like an airplane engine that has been muted or something. It might not be noticeable in a large room but my room is very small so it is very noticeable. I tried getting used to it and after reading other things online convinced myself that my room was too small for the fan to be effective but honestly at this point I am extremely disappointed with the product and want to return it but it's been more than 60 days so I doubt I can. This product has turned me off from all Dyson products and I will never purchase another one of their products again. It just baffles me how the main function if the product, which is to blow air to cool the owner down, is so obviously deficit. Even at the highest setting I feel like the air flow is too gentle to cool me down. Love this! Air quality is so much better, sleep better too! Highly recommend this if you’re struggling with dust and not enough sleep.
