The another issue is that it doesn't have any indicator for ambient air quality. No smart phone connection. I just believe it does what it has to do.

I got this dyson for my parents which i will be returning... i was not happy that i was not able to connect the dyson app. The dyson does not have the wifi connection even though it says you can connect it. Also it does not have the automatic function. If you just want it to be simple and just do its job this will be great. But if you want to know the AQ in the room it may not be so great as you cant connect to the wifi or the dyson app link.

The fan does not automatically turn off anymore since we do not use the spin option.

Even though I have central air conditioning I am so much more comfortable sleeping with this fan. As I have grown to expect from other Dyson products I own, it was simple to take it out of the box & put together with no learning curve or frustration necessary to immediately enjoy it. Can also be easily moved & enjoyed in other rooms. I plan to also use it in the guest room to make visitors more comfortable.
