Dyson TP01 Hepa air purifier
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We are using the Dyson TP01 air purifier in a large master bedroom and bathroom. We run it all night due to allergies. It is nearly silent at level 03 and very quiet at the next 2 levels, so you can easily fall asleep with it running. The remote control is easy to use. It seems to be working as we are no longer waking up hacking and coughing in the middle of the night. It was a comparable price with the other mid level purifiers and well worth the money.

I've been using it for three weeks and wake up feeling 20 years younger. Thinking about purchasing a similar unit for the office. Very smooth and only makes moderate noise on setting 10. Very light and can move it around the house with out a problem. As expected beautifully engineered.

I have a husky, and he usually is in my room most of the time. This fan did get rid of the dog smell in my room. It's great for purifying the air in a room but not for cooling. Unless you sit right in front of it then yes. And the noise it makes is comforting when sleeping so there's that.

Posted .Hello Fernando, this is Kelly with Dyson. I am sorry to read your review and learn how disappointed you are in your Dyson Pure Cool air purifier and fan. Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

It is silent until you reach the strongest setting. The airflow is as good as a fan bladed fan. I was tired of replacing fans once they wore out. The incased fan base should help maintain this fan much longer than others, making its VALUE comparable to buying multiple bladed fans. Also, it has a much lower "foorprint" for comparable air flow.

That alone makes this unit worth its weight in gold. Plus the airflow is more dispersed than with a regular fan. I no longer need to use my ceiling fan, but when I do use it along with this unit, I still breathe more easily. This is saving money on my electric bill since I no longer need to change the temp at night just to stay cool!
