Medium fan strength for cooling. Seems to purify well but doesnt eliminate musk smells like other purifiers I've had. If it was under $200 I'd give it 4 to 5 stars, but not for the price

Needed a new tower fan in prep for summer and also our air purifier was getting older with fairly pricey filters- this made it possible to replace both and a filter once a year at the current price point doesnt sound unreasonable.

Yes it’s a Dyson product, yes it’s expensive. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, this product is great and does what is says. It’s also nice to get an air purifier and large oscillating fan in a 2-for-1 as fans are a must have for me to sleep. The fan is plenty powerful and fairly quiet at levels 7 and below. Keeps the room cool and the air seems to be cleaner (I have indoor and seasonal allergies).

Love it. I have ceiling fans in all my rooms but all they do is circulate the air. With Dyson, the air in the room smells cleaner. It is quieter than the ceiling fan. I am waking up with less sinus headaches.

I have 3 dyson products at home and love them all. Nothing works better. Their customer service is also phenomenal and responsive. I will be a dyson customer for life.

Use this in our workout tread/ bike room and it’s amazing. Air is cool and really circulates whole room. I like having the wireless controller to change settings if needed while on tread

We bought this to help clean the air as my daughter's allergies were acting up. This really took the allergens out of the air in her room and helped her. It's very quiet too.

We have been using this for just over a month, we are impressed. It is quiet, easy, EASY, to assembly’s out of the box. Easy to use and it is working great. The fan has ten speeds and we run it on 4-7. VERY PLEASED.

we love our new dyson HEPA air purifier and fan. firstly we got this so that we wouldn't have to clean the fan later on from dust. this was what we needed. no need to clean any dusty grills or cover. it also is an air purifier which is great for our living room. and i love the color. i would highly recommend it.

I have a friend who has had his own Dyson fan for 8 years now. He said his is still going strong and he's never had issues with it. I was in-store looking to buy an air purifier for my allergy-ridden boyfriend. I was looking at another air purifier when I passed by this fan. It was on a display with other Dyson models and there was a helpful little graphic to compare them with each other. I was a little nervous because of the price tag, but i saw that this was not only an air purifier but a fan as well! At the time of purchase, my boyfriend and I were waiting on our A/C to be repaired, so we were desperate for any cool air, but the air purifier is what really sold me on it. The manual says that the filter located in the air purifier is meant to last for a year, and replacement filters aren't too pricey. The purifier is located in the small gray portion towards the bottom. The air gets pulled in through there, purified, and then goes out in the tower part. It comes with a remote control, super handy. It's very quiet on its lower settings, but really has a lot of power behind it at its highest settings. It can oscillate and cover a wide range. There is a sleep timer function, which I haven't used yet, but is also nice to have. I can already tell the difference in the air quality in our small one-bedroom apartment. While the price tag is a bit hefty, it's definitely worth it being both an air purifier and a powerful fan!

The cooling fan functions very well. It does not have freon so is not an air conditioner, just a powerful fan which actually does feel cool. The air purifier quality is even better. I have respiratory allergies and am very impressed with how well this purifier cleans the air. I have bought another for another part of the house. I have other Dyson tools and trust the brand. I gave it four stars for a couple of reasons: 1. the box was glued almost impossibly closed. Sheesh. 2. It is light and awkward to move, I have tipped it over several times. The top fan does seem sturdy, however. 3. the rotating feature is finicky as other reviewers have noted.
