Posted .Hi Jean, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're glad to hear that in your use, you found the TP01 Pure Cool Tower to be so easy to use, and quiet while in use as well. It's not abnormal to see a lot of dust accumulate at the shroud of the machine, or at the amplifier loop. Your machine will draw in air through the bottom portion, purify that, and expel that purified air into the room. We do recommend regular maintenance (cleaning) of the shroud and loop, to keep those areas dust free. We're keen to go over your machine with you and learn more about your experience, as we'd like to help ensure that your Dyson is performing properly.
